I understand it is next to impossible to get an appt with the LA bookers if one is new to the hobby. How hard is it for out of town folks? I have excellent reviews and references from the east coast. However not sure it will give me entry in to the LA wonderful K party. Can an LA gentleman advice on an agency that would entertain business folks? I have references from DC and NYC. Overly optimistic. Unless you know a touring girl who's in LA right now that would vouch for you with her booker, I doubt you will even get a response.
With that said, I can recommend Parker South, an independent Korean-American girl working on the Westside. She does her own screening, and if you have a TER VIP presence (reviews/board posts) and a few good refs, you should be able to pass muster with her. I recommend you allow a few days in advance to do the screening.

I am in similar situation ... while I have been able to see some of the "mid-tier" girls around LA - and have used them for references - I am having a tough time breaking into some of the top talent, e.g Megan, Moli, Chloe, now Queen.
Those POs do not even reply to my initial text asking about availability.
My area code is for my home back in NY state, and I am wondering if that could be part of the issue? Do you guys think that a hobby phone with LA area code may make a difference? I am only out here for short time. Any advice? Thanks!

I don't see why you can't see the others you are interested in if you've seen some "mid-tier" girls already. Perhaps you've been blacklisted for some reason? I didn't read your reviews. They may all be glowing about the girls, but some of number scores are lower than most providers like. That could have something to do with it, but I am not saying that is the case.
Considering that you're seeing Kgirls at all, you are doing far better than other guys. Just continue seeing who you can and more than likely, eventually, you'll be able to see others. You only have reviews in L.A. going back to August. Give it some more time.
I've heard it said that lacking a local LA area code is almost a guarantee of no answer -- just hearsay as I'm not from the LA area (not even west coast). I wouldn't find that surprising.
Instead of the separate phone it might be easier to try the Burner app that will get you number and you can specify what area code you want the number under. You could probably test the theory for under $15.
You can test that theory for free. Sideline is definitely free if you can deal with a banner and I believe Google Voice is free as well.
I will also just say that local numbers can get ignored too, it is not a guarantee for success
