I've probably seen more references to milfs and gilfs on this board in the past month that I saw in total prior to about 2019 (granted for me that mostly means prior to sometime in 2017 as between then and the end of 2019 I probably only looked here a dozen times and we had the whole blackout period going on).
Makes me wonder a bit if we even have K-girls any more. Or if we do it's in name only (they are K, in a K-agency and use the AAMP model) but lacking in the areas that most of us find so great about these providers.
in spite of the age discrepancies that have always existed for Kgirls between their ads and profiles, and reality, more mongers are taking a harder look for signs as to their true age. The more Kgirls you see, the easier it becomes to judge their true age. With experience comes wisdom, and as you say, possibly depression. Lol
I know when I first started seeing Kgirls, there were so many to choose from, I didn't repeat as often as I do now. Its often difficult to assess age on a single visit when you're new to Kgirls, and Asian women in general for that matter.
Obsession?
Variety?
Service Queen?
MILF?
Halmeoni?
What in the world is up with our monger brothers?
What's the typical age of our monger brothers? I'm 55 with a 20 + year old daughter. I'm into sessioning with kgirls in their 30s And up.
I'm told there's a stigma in the Motherland on kgirls who are over 30 and pushed out of the salons to work elsewhere...
What's your point Twoon?! Things That Make You Go Hmm...

More and more K-Girls are actually independents that only use the services of booker as opposed to being agency girls.
Another thing I have been seeing in the Dallas area are local AMP girls crossing over into the AAMP world. It's true that many of these girls offer excellent service, but it appears that the DDG touring girls that were once the norm are becoming a thing of the past here, the AMP girls tend to be older, and of course less attractive than the K-Girls of old.
I have to confess the 7-10 scoring system for K-Girls at one time was a non issue as I would go years without seeing a K-Girl who didn't deserve at least a 7-7 on the TER system. Unfortunately there are more and more "aunties" now in the K-AAMP world
The crossover part is interesting. Most amp girls here are Chinese. Few viets and very few if any Thai girls left
Ironically, the youngest Asian girls I've seen were part of storefront amps. They were few far and between, but they definitely were college-aged. Now most of them had very remedial service, but there were a couple of unicorns out there.
It sucks to hear that the aunties are taking over that area. I hope they're at least very skilled aunties for us skill lovers. Lol.
but there are several K-AMPs here as well.
In the past the K-AAMPs were mainly touring girls from either NY or CA, mainly "youngish" (pass for under 30 regardless of real age), but lately the K-AAMPs are a mix of permanent girls (mainly upper 30's-40's or even older) who are a mix of both Thai and Korean women, and what used to be the norm here, the typical Korean touring girls.
And yes, some (most) of the most popular K-Girls here who are known for the BEST service are indeed those "aunties" that you are talking about.
We also have many non ethnic "studios" here in town, staffed mainly by white girls, but the service level (including menu. some offer no more than oral) is nothing to compare to the AMPS or AAMPs we have here.
I think that young, pretty Korean girls have more options than they once did. For example, it really doesn’t take much for a girl to start making money on YouTube or that fan site these days. I know a couple of c-girls who did relatively well on the aforementioned fan site and other sites during quarantine. They’ve never fully come back to providing. At least not yet.

around 2008 or so. The business model for the better ladies hasn't actually changed in 10+ years.

but as much as I appreciate the attention you are showing me, aren't you CDL's stalker? I'd hate to be accused of "stalker poaching" CDL don't always agree, but we do respect "property rights" ROFLMFAO
It depends on the precise definition of "Independent". Even though they can tour and make their own schedules, when I think of INDEPENDENT Kgirls, I don't include girls who still work out of a two-girl agency-leased apartment. When I refer to independent girls, I mean the ones that rent their own working space and may or may not have a roommate, and if they do, the other girl is paying THEM for use of the second bedroom rather than an agency that owns four or five incall locations. They still need a booker because they don't know how to screen, but they don't contract for any other services. That said, the number of girls that are COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT using this business model are still relatively few, comparatively speaking. The vast majority still work out of agency-leased incall locations and pay for the space per customer. As GaG says, there is a SLOW shift among Kgirls to this business "totally independent" model, outsourcing the booker service, that is on the rise, but its not going to change dramatically overnight.
You are right that some pioneering Kgirls had their own incalll set-ups over ten years ago, but off the top of my head, I can only think of a handful compared to the thousands of Kgirls that have come through LA. Sometimes they worked solo out of a one-bedroom space, and other times they rented out the second bedroom just like the agencies do. If the girl in the second bedroom is decent, they can easily cover their fixed overhead out of her "rents" for the second bedroom. Then their fixed costs for their own customers are just the booker fee.
As long as they're not marketed as early or mid 20s gals.
But I realize many if not the majority of mongers go for looks and youthfulness. I mean, sure, I'd take the younger girl over an older girl provided things are equal elsewhere. But the younger or better looking the girl is, she usually has worse case of GPS and the closer you get to dead fish category. The younger girls who offer new PSE often think that offering BB is all they need.
I realize that this topic is slightly different and does touch on the quality lately. The issue I gather is that these older gals are also not super service queens.
I do hope things get better for both the eye candy mongers and service-oriented mongers. The prices rising on the west coast and quality declining is not a good look. Even if given some leeway for covid.
Do you remember Mi Lo, Jensen?
She was a MILF but was awesome! Age sometimes is only a number.
KJ, good memory! dig out my 2015 files and found Milo@BL, Really liked her, thought she also got many fans from CA & DAL
I don't but calling out one or two exceptions is pretty meaningless. I do remember Danielle who was also a 40s (plus perhaps) provider that was very fit, great service and still very attractive for her age. But was clearly older than the vast majority of the touring girls coming though the area.
Even then she seemed to be considered one of the providers closer to retirement than to a continued long stay in the business. But even then no one was referring to any of these women as GILFs, and rightfully so. So if you're point is to try to suggest even before people were happy calling any of the older, less fit and older looking providers K-Girls I think that would be a mistake.
The K-girl brand name was built on something different than that.
Jensen, is the gist of your post the gilf terminology?
I agree that I haven't really met many kgirls that would fit the "gilf" terminology. Taiwanese (TW) gilfs is a different story.
One of my favs actually was called a gilf by many. After seeing her for the fist time, I was at a loss why she was called a gilf. Was she older than most kgirls? Yes but she wasn't close to the oldest or had worn face or skin as some of many other kgirls in area.
Anecdotally, I'd say the bell curve is really around mid/late 30s to late 40s.
I think people nowadays are just frustrated by the quality and mean age creeping up a bit, so the term is thrown around a lot more. Once you've seen tw gilfs, you know what worn out gilfs really look like.
Wirh that said, the terms milf and gilf can be ambiguous and span a wide range. Most women have a kid before 35. And you can be a grandma in late 40s.
Just my two cents. Not trying to start anything.
I know a couple of chicas who became grandmas in their late TWENTIES, not their late forties. lol
MOST women have kids in their early twenties, a lot of them have kids while in their teens and more than a few have kids in their EARLY teens, do the math and you end up with literally millions of grandmas in their 30s. I am sure that there are a LOT of hookers of all races that are literally grandmothers. A lot of them right here on TER are admitted grandmothers.
I do agree with you that there are very few K-Girls who "look" like grandmothers and I further agree that a lot of the Chinese sex workers most definitely throw off that grandmother look. I don't know if I believe in "gilfs" any more than I believe in BBW's. I think at least in my case that the terms are contradictory. I don't think fat broads are beautiful and I don't "love to fuck" grandmas. lol
"MOST women have kids in their early twenties, a lot of them have kids while in their teens and more than a few have kids in their EARLY teens, do the math and you end up with literally millions of grandmas in their 30s"
Well
I don't think there are many grandmas in their thirties. Certainly not millions (if we talking about the US). Women having kids in early twenties and their daughters/sons having a kid in their early twenties already puts them way past 40. Them having kids at 18 and their kids having kids at 18 makes it 36 as a baseline late 30s as starting point.
Sure there are some, I agree... but I don't think you count them by millions.
And no, this isn't me disagreeing for sake of disagreeing. Lol
Are you bemoaning a perceived increase in average age?
If so, up until very recently, there were a number of younger women, mostly showing up at one place.
I do believe that was discussed in pretty good detail on a prior thread.
Harpman came up with those rankings. It's like promotions in the military - captain, major, colonel, general.
Let CDL decide which K-girls get which designations; he's taken Harpman's place anyway
An approach but not sure I agree it would be simple. That just opens the whole can of worms we have the scoring. Increase the options and you increase the number of boundary lines between them and introduce more grey areas to argue about. Keeping a single category simplifies that.
That said the depressing fact is that we would be hard pressed to fill the available rooms (which are rather reduced these days) even with K-Dolls and I certainly have little interest in filling the openings with Bacchus Ladies.
I went through a period where I helped run a couple of significantly sized monger boards. We tried to institute review standards to make them more usable. So, I wrote a guide for the guys to follow to characterize every number from 1 through 10 for all the basic categories from looks to service and attitude.
Even then there were quite a few disputes over the difference between subjective and objective numerical ratings.
Some people review movies subjectively, too. You have people who didn’t like a movie. To them that means it deserves a 1. Or at least some number below 5. But if you go down through the objective criteria you find the movie actually was an overall 6 or 7. But maybe it just dealt with subject material that the reviewer found objectionable. So the whole movie was downgraded for that sole reason. But if you rate a movie a 1 that means - to anyone expecting an objective review - that the acting was terrible, the script made no sense, the production values were at the level of one of the slow kids in first grade and so on. Movies that are actually that bad and get released to the theaters are extremely rare if not actually nonexistent.
All of the above applies to provider reviews, too.
So people who only understand subjective ratings write nearly useless reviews unless you have quite a few samples from them that you can cross reference with people who write objective reviews.
You frequently can’t even readily predict if someone will be a subjective or objective reviewer. People who seem quite technical and objective about other things (and of course then think that anything they write is objective simply because they wrote it) can write absolutely crap reviews. Because they can’t recognize their own biases, which can be major. But they’ll never see, much less admit, those biases, of course. And, if you can’t figure out those biases they deny they have, their reviews will usually not be useful in predicting anyone else’s experience with the same girl.
To net this out, Jensen, I completely agree. The more categories you have the more areas of dispute. And the more you have to get to know the reviewing quirks of the community in order to figure out the actual meaning of the reviews. The larger the community the closer to impossible that becomes.
Based on my past experience, I’ve developed my own approach for interpreting reviews that works for me. I have to decide on a set of reviews for a girl I’m thinking of seeing that actually reveal something useful about the quality of experience those reviews represent. I assign each author of those reviews what is essentially a standard deviation from 100% reliable that I call their YMMV value. I also assign the girl herself a YMMV value.
And then I look for the characteristics that I have found most likely to lead to an enjoyable session for me and, based on the above, the probability that the girl in question will bring those to a session with me.
It sounds more complicated and labor intensive than it is. And I’ve had pretty great success with this approach.
Of course all of the above is useless with a FOTB girl. If I decide to take a plunge with a girl like that it will be because there is a group of senior girls that I know take training their juniors seriously. This is less common than it used to be though.
Anyway, this is just my take on the whole idea of ranking or categorizing kgirls.
Have fun.
