K-girls
You guys should check out this movie about a kgirl at a red light district in the 70s...
Its called "downfall". Pretty good. Has a happy ending i guess. Not much info on it since old movie. No subtitles but ill summariize from what i can tell:
The story is about a prostitute and her life working and living and the people..johns,pimps, and other girls she interacts with in a red light district in the 70s in korea. The main character is a teenage orphan some pimp picks up at a train station and lies to her about a job serving drinks. But when she arrives at the business she realizes its a red light district whorehouse. She tries to leave when she realizes this but the pimp "break" her by having her gang raped. The rest of the story follows her accepting her fate and interacting with the people in her world...its interesting how the movie shows the other prostitutues and their interactions with the johns etc... Then one day she meets a country dufus customer and for the first time recieves genuine care. They dont fuck cause shes too tired from banging other customers. They just sleep and he leaves and disappers the next morning. Then storty jumps few years and she gets transfered to some country red light district. And surprise he meets the dufus agsin. And they rekindle their friendship...he helps her etc but dont fuck. Then one day she asks his help to find someone. So he leaves then few years pass and comes to tell her what he found but she left the town. He finds her again about to marry some taxi driver client. He looks like a loser and congratulted her and leaves. Few years pass and he sends her a letter saying hes marrying someone and sorry she and the taxi driver broke up. She reads the letter and cries (im assuming because realizes shes lost him..i guess) then this part is stupid...some pimp comes to her new job to recruit her and movie has a big scene where they fuck for like 30mins nonstop and she says shes never fucked this long before or orgamsed (i guess this scene is to show due to finding out the dufus is getting married she fucks like no tomorrow out of jealosuy and to forget the dufus?) Then story jumps few more years..amd the dufus finds her again and they rekindsle their friendship but dont fuck. He says he never married but the girl says she is about to get married to a client. He says thats good and he leaves again. Then the pimp that she had anger sex with gets jealous when he learns shes marrying and starts beating her. Till she promises to pay him if he lets her go. So she pays him off with a loan but ends up getting dumped by the client but runs off to a red light district in the country. Their she finds some prostitute friends and opens a room salon bar. Then the dufus finds her again and they rekndile their friendship but dont fuck. Then he leaves. Then the girl gets scammed and loses her business and she runs off to work back as a prostitute since has no other skills. Then few years goes by and you see her all down and tired of life. Then the dufus finds her again and they hug ans cry as he has given her hope again ans hes they only one whos ever loved her. They dont fuck but ride off in a motorbike and movie ends. So to summarize...girl basically accepts her life as a prostitute, makes alot of money, enjoys sex, but cant find love till she loses everything and some dufus that never fucks her and she only pitys loves her at the end. -- Modified on 8/1/2016 10:27:50 PM

Too bad no subtitles. My Korean is No Bueno! Interesting look at the situation. Is it fact or fiction. I mean from the culture of the Red light District.

i think all of heard of girls getting tricked and raped and forced to prositution etc. its sad but reality among alot of the prositutues all over the world.
me personally ive never met red light girls who were raped and abused and forced to become a red light girl like the character in the movie. all the girls ive met made the decision to become a red light working girl...whether that because of debt or needing money.
and the relationship you see in the movie is also pretty close to reality. although theres alot of old dried up grannies who used to prostitutes running the girls rather then some thug male pimp stereotype in the movie.
It is difficult to put ourselves or our families in this situation. Abuse happens in all phases of life, and in movies, they play on our emotions with sweet, innocent, pretty, delicate young actors to touch our emotions, and it works. And it happens. But there is the other side of the picture of free choice to be good at what they do. Entertainers, that's how Hollywood works. Let's face it to make it Hollywood, you know what you have to do. All I can say is have a good time with our entertainers, treat them well and wish them the best.
wonder how many of the kgirls here hate their life and have mental breakdowns, take pain killers, etc
Reminds me of the joke -- 25% of women are prescribed psychiatric drugs. That means 75% are walking around untreated.
One thing about most K-Girls, and other Asian women who are here "only to work" is that they are usually pretty focused on their goals, and working hard for a few months to earn "life changing" money for when they get home is well worth the hard work to most of them.
One thing you will never see is a "broke" K-Girl, you can hardly say the same about our own home grown hookers, many of which are constantly broke and needing help with the rent each month.
I don't feel sad for any of the K-Girls any more than I feel "sad" for a guy who works a year in some shit hole like Saudi Arabia, or takes a job on an Alaskan Crab boat to make enough money to change his life. These girl do every thing in their power to stay here and many do every thing in their power to come back, so they are hardly unhappy about what they have signed up for.
but US market is pretty tough for the girls. 1/3 cant deal with the kissing and cim etc and give up and go back. the rest that tough it out...well 1/3 make it and become popular and 1/3 just make so so money and don't come back
Another way to look at it is that they need money and you are providing it. Would they be better off if you (or anyone else) didn't provide the money?
