Tipping for the holidays and for the booker?

Granted tipping is a very personal choice,  for those willing to share, I am curious as to what folks might plan to tip their favorite Kgirls this holiday season? This thread is not designed to rehash the well discussed thread from back in February BTW.  Do not want to debate the merits of Tipping.

And then one more question is how much do you tip the booker as well since we are their customer as much as of the girls, is not even more so.  This specific nuance has not been discussed ad nauseum.

To start off by sharing first,  I'm planning on $100 to the ATFs and $100 to the bookers.

Your thoughts?

I don't do much more than that just because its Christmas.  My long-time regulars will get a thoughtful personal gift at Christmas and for their respective birthdays, not money.

In NYC, it's not so much bookers as the phone girls at each KMP. They are actually on-site, in another room or the kitchen or somewhere. (Whereas CA-style bookers are off-site, not at the apartment, hotel, etc., right?)  I've chatted with the phone girls but I never thought about tipping (holiday gifting) them.

In all cases (NYC, CA and in between), is it the girls who should be tipping their bookers and phone girls for sending the best clients to them or giving them the best schedules?

Bad analogy, but I tip the cab driver, not the shift supervisor, mechanic, or dispatcher back at the taxi garage. The drivers tip them for getting the best cabs, the best routes, and the easiest calls

You use this term with a condescending tone. I'm curious if you apply to all Kgirl fans. You clearly respect CDL & Captain, so I assume they don't qualify for this label. What are their characteristics that evoke your scorn? Just so I can spot one.

Non-tipping K-fanboys. They know who they are. I'm a tipping K-fanboy. It's apples and oranges.  That's why I get good-natured scorn rather than condescending scorn.

always in a condescending manner. Couple examples here. If he thinks all Kgirl fans are to be scorned, let's hear it and give the reasons. If there is a subset, let's find out what they did or said to deserve this label. If he has a few K-fan enemies, let's not broad brush.

perhaps you can help to clarify, for all those poor "boys".

Btw, Col. Sanders told me to remind you, on referring to us hyphenated soldiers, you've got to include the dash. Lest you offend a whole bunch of guys who worship their Princess LK, her exalted highness Love Kim.

I think his point is that there might be a subset of people that are inflating appearance and performance ratings along with general shilling of kgirls and he would like a little more objectivity across the board which would be more useful to the community.

I agree that some K crusaders went too far to shill that Kgirls can do no wrong. My mentor left a special Kgirl site because he couldn't stand all those proselytizing.

But I agree, it's better to get your two cents in early.

TER has stated guidelines for shilling.  Most sites do not, and the sad result is that a lot of newbies get scammed.  Your mentor did well to distance himself from such s site.

...explanation by "doctorjohn888" pretty much sums it up.  It's not meant to be a derogatory term, except to those who go way overboard and have lost all objectivity.  For the record, the original term was "K-boy" which was misinterpreted as me saying all the customers of K-girls were Korean.  And it could be taken as racist as well so I added the "fan."  It's really just shorthand for the guys who go way too far shouting the praises of K-girls.  Not every guy is a K-fanboy, just as not every K-girl is a K-icon or K-legend.  In fact, there are far fewer K-fanboys than there were when this board started.

I tip for good service, which is about 75% of the time....  I tip cabbies, waiters, my paperboy, the ups guy -- the latter two at the holidays -- and anybody else I deem tip-worthy....

I was taught to always tip people who provide all types of personal services, from my barber and the shoe shine guy, to waiters, tailors, and dry cleaners.  What's more of a personal service than having sex?

...bottoms on your pants and charges you $250.00 for it, I'd like to see how much you tip him.  Do you tip your mail carrier every time he brings you your mail?  Do you tip your doctor?  He gets pretty personal when he sticks his finger up your ass or grabs your balls and tells you to cough.  Do you tip your lawyer?  Some services get tips all the time (barber, shoe shine, waiter), some don't (doctor, lawyer, tailor).  Some get tips at Christmas (mailman, doorman, tradesmen, etc).

I wasn't talking about whether or not to tip.  I was talking about my perception of whether the customers of K-girls tip.  I believe the vast majority of the customers do NOT tip.  The main reasons guys see K-girls are the uniformly excellent service AND the price point.  They don't tip because that would raise the price point which would eliminate one of the two reasons they see K-girls.  There have been threads here before on the subject of tipping.
