I had a meal with a kgirl.  I was blown away by the way she used the utensils. I wanted to show her the proper way to use a knife and a fork.  Anyone else experience something similar?

I suspect they would have the same thought watching you eat with chopsticks (or jeotgarak as they would call them).

 
I've actually gotten used to using chopsticks more often than the usual western table eating utensiles and find, at time, using them feels a bit awkward and clumsy. I can only imagin what it's like for someone that lived their entire life not using a knife and fork. Korean doesn't even have a natural word for fork, just a Korean pronounciation of the English word, lol.

Yes, similar. These dipshit Americans who drink a delicately perfumed nebbiolo from a glass designed for riesling. Where did they grow up - a trailer park, or jailyard?

And don't get me started on the many who fail to appropriately handle a cuillère à sauce.

Guilty as charged. I don't often drink wine but unless i'm out where the servers are choosing the glassware I'll pour my wine into a tumbler and just not care. Doesn't matter to me if the wine is Pinot Noir or Makgeolli ;-)

customer-appreciation dates, and most Kgirls do them with their regulars.  The frequency will depend on how often you see them.  If you are a once-a-month regular, you might get one quarterly.  If you are weekly, it would likely be every 4 or 5 weeks.  It's a business perk like going with a customer to a Laker game in order to thank them for their continued patronage, except in the case of a Kgirl date, the customer usually pays for the meal.  Lol  

 
Pro Tip:      It's bad form to ask for sex on a customer-appreciation date unless you offer to pay the normal price for a session. Words cannot express the full range of pissed off they get from guys trying to score a freebee on a customer-appreciation date.
