The Korgs are pretty good about morning confirmations. But sometimes on an early session the confirmation can come down to the last minute, and depending on traffic and distance you could end up getting there late. Throw in parking, at some locations, and it can be a downright pain!
Do you let the Booker know you will need an earlier than normal text because of travel time? I forgot to ask for an early confirmation the other day and it came down to the wire when I was texted later than usual.
I don't do early morning appointments, so I never thought about it. It's a very good question, badger.
Accounting for traffic etc, that 8am confirmation (I'm assuming prebook) might not be fast enough. With that said, here in the bay it's up to the client to text a confirmation to the PO at 8am if you do a prebook. I think PO will try to accommodate if you tell him/her you need a confirmation earlier. But I did sometimes get late replies. For me it didn't matter because my appointment was much later. But yeah I can see that it can be stressful.
But for me it would depend on prior experience with the agency/provider. If I've been a customer for a while and we have a good understanding of expectations and reliability I would not worry about leaving without a morning confirmation. I would also send a quick text saying I am on the way and assume something has not come up.
If this is a first visit I would likely text early with a bit of time to allow some response to ask for the confirmation before heading out.
I'm not the most frequent hobbyist by any stretch of the imagination but IIRC I have only had a couple of times when a lady or booker cancelled on me, and on those occasions I had a backup plan already. I have had far more problems with poor direction, unable to find a place to park etc. so I prefer to depart a bit early unless I'm going to an already familiar location.
Rocket, thanks for the post. yeah, most of my sessions are prebook. I sent my confirmation 10 to 8 and expected an 8am reply, however, this one time I got the reply at 8:25. It was a 9am session time, most are 10am start times, it was close, but it did work out.
I have developed the habit of texting at 8:00am sharp when I have a pre book or have inquired about an availability. Nothing wordy, just touch base. I’ve never gotten anything but thank yous and smile emojis. And bookings! This is obviously compulsory if you’re booking mornings like me.
I have asked for a solid confirmation the night before with mixed success. I have indeed texted before 8:00am, but have never in memory gotten an early reply.
Usually on game day im commuting in their general direction so I have that on my side if an appointment falls through. Hope that and my other reply help…. sag
My preference is 8 or earlier. I’ve had a few kgirls grant 7:30 appointments. Love them when I can get them.
But most kgirls I have known prefer an 8:30 or 9:00AM start for an early appointment. About 4 or t years ago, I used to try to always have a fallback amp girl or two that would see me any time I dropped by for an early morning quickie. Always a great way to take the edge off before work. Note that the majority of these were booked directly with the girl.
There was a gal I was really enamored with, and I was still married with kids at home at the time. She wasn't due to come visit my city so I came up with an admittedly hair-brained scheme as follows:
I was able to concoct a story for my wife that I had to be on a job site from around 8 PM Saturday to 10 AM Sunday. This allowed me to catch a 11 PM flight to her city that landed at 1 AM, where she met me and we drove to a motel by the airport, canoodled for a few hours, then she drove me back to the airport for a 7 AM flight that landed at 9 and got me home by 10 AM. There were a lot of moving parts but it worked like a charm, and it was worth it. So, there is was: 1 AM to 5 AM.
but it would be great if I could. If the appointment is morning and in WLA, I have to leave about the time the bookers are getting up and having their coffee. There have been a few times over the years when I would get a text when I'm halfway there saying the girl's period started so the session is cancelled. However, the great thing about SoCal is that there is ALWAYS another girl available at the same time either in WLA or MW, so I just stay on course.
