How does someone with 387 likes on cv have no reviews? Her pics caught my eye but reluctant given the few passes I get to enjoy this hobby. What gives?

correct. Bookers use the same template with the rates, hours and phone number the same and then just slide in new photos and alter the description when a new girl assumes a particular location. Since the template has been used before, CV does not reset the "likes." We recently had a new girl in LA that started the first day with over 200 "likes".
Also, the Kgirl network in each market, each one of whom has two phones, a personal and a company phone, get together and conspire to "like" each other as many times and as often as they can, to boost the impression that customers are crazy about them. That's why I pay absolutely no attention to "likes."
The best way to go with a new girl with no reviews is to have the kind of long-term relationship with a booker who will give you straight advice on a new girl based on your history. I will often ask one of my bookers about a new girl, and the booker may say, "I think she would be perfect for you", or "I don't think she is your type", or something in between. Most bookers you are a regular with keep at least a mental record of who you have seen and who you have repeated with, so they know what kind of girls you may like from the repeats. This is an information resource that most hobbyists overlook when wondering about seeing a new girl with no reviews.
Thanks for the info about CityVibe. I don't pay attention to the likes, but your explanation of them not resetting the counter makes sense. I rely on the reviews. I wish there were a professional john that would go and sample new girls and then post reliable reviews. I see many CityVibe ads of pretty girls but no reviews; which makes me wish there was one guy we could trust to take the first dive and then let everyone else know how it went. For example, in Orange County there is a really hot Asian named Dee that I haven't seen any reviews of.

More seriously though I don't think it's really possible for one person to really do that because we all have our own particular likes, turn-ons and turn-offs that some will always call the review misleading. If you're not getting enough feedback either in reviews or other channels you might consider offering some bonus to reviewers in your area. But would that also be paying to have sex? You might face multiple charges and TER might not be willing to facilitate the financial exchange.
...also be reliable, i.e., accurate. Too often, the first reviewer merely regurgitates what's in the ad rather than give his own honest assessment. That's why so many of the profiles are the same: 21-25, 5'3"-5'5", 100 lbs, enhanced C cups.
On this board, many post that the girls are in their 30's but that doesn't show up in the profiles. Why? Either the reviewers are too lazy or they are afraid the bookers will blacklist them for (Gasp!) actually being honest about how old the K-girls are.
from a CV ad, to the info they provide in the advertisement, you need to add 10 pounds (unless she is "skinny"), 5-10 years, and if the ad says 5-6 or taller, add another 2-4 inches. I've seen dozens of Kgirls who were advertised at 5-6 that were really 5-10 to 6-0. Add four inch heels when they greet you, and if you're short, like a few of my hobby friends, it can be quite intimidating.
As BigP points out, most of the Kgirls I have seen are north of 30, and I always make a point of putting that in my reviews, but the moderators don't seem to want to update the profile given by the first reviewer. I actually prefer them between 30 and 40 and am disappointed with the rare Kgirl that is in their early to mid-20's. For me, service is king, and you don't get that until they reach their prime.

There are a some hot girls that have ads running for some time and I wonder why they haven't been reviewed (even while other providers from the same agency have been reviewed several times; take MJ, a Thai provider--haven't seen any reviews).
many hobbyists that see Thai providers tend to write reviews in a smaller percentage than the guys who mostly see Kgirls. I don't really know why that is, but there is a Thai agency circuit just like the Kgirl circuit. I have seen a few touring Thai girls that had no reviews in one city had reviews in another. Oftentimes, and this applies to Kgirl bookers as well, if you tell a booker that you are interested in seeing a girl, but she doesn't have any reviews, so you were wondering if she has reviews under another name in another city, the booker will sometimes tell you what other names she worked under. Allowing you to check the reviews and make an informed decision.

An enterprising hobbyist took screen shots of the discussions and posted them on another public site. Ultimately, to his credit, Mufftime fessed up on another site to writing fake reviews, and was nevertheless banned from that other review site that closed last August, but the other two conspirators have benn MIA.
Mufftime will claim he wasn't banned from the other site for writing fake reviews, but the screenshots showing he was banned are still floating around among the several hundred hobbyists that came to TER after the other site closed. I have personally seen them. I don't know if posting them here is allowed under TER guidelines or not if he says it didn't happen.
if their acct has been suspended by TER the PM will bouce back. If not then they are either dead (my condonlences) or staying UTR becuase an owner/kgirl told them to shut up or be banned ie manbitched. Haha..
and totally unfamiliar with the facts. There are quite a few fake review writers, but most of them are right here on TER, where such practices are unfortunately encouraged by the awarding of free VIP membership days.

members here that have nothing of value to contribute of their own so they resent anyone that is willing to share their experience and knowledge with fellow hobbyists. I learned a lot the hard way by trial and error and if I can save someone else a little trouble or embarrassment, it is worth the time and effort to post here.

As I have pointed out before, Dance, you are Korean, so I think it is a matter of perspective and the way Kgirls react to one of their own versus a Caucasian man. I have no doubt that you "know everything" from a Korean point of view, and Korean members here should be able to learn a lot from you and expect similar experiences as you if they listen to your advice.
However, it is a completely different dynamic between a Kgirl and a Caucasian man, which I don't think you can possibly understand, because you will never be able to walk in my shoes. I don't claim to know "everything" about dealing with Kgirls from a Caucasian perspective, but I am always willing to share what I do know with fellow hobbyists that are into the Kgirl scene.
