So this website has been circulating in small circles but it got shutdown fast probably because of a lot of pii (phone numbers, zelle accounts etc)

I didn't archive.ph unfortunately  but I definitely downloaded the whole structure locally. As it's mostly phone screenshots.

And no it wasnt me who created it, but I'm certainly impressed by the amount of research and snooping. Salute to whoever made this. One of few people who actually pursue scumbags who are looking to profit off mongers.

In short, the site claimed there are two (at least) fake review vendors who sell reviews to exclusively kgirls.

And then showed proof of kgirl (or maybe someone posing as a kgirl) talking to such merchant making a payment and receiving a review in exchange. Then list of ter handles belonging to merchant was attached. And many girls, mostly Vegas and socal area were grouped by the amount of fake reviews. Someone like Chu had 70 to her name. Holy moly.

This is a snapshot of the fake review merchants pricing and website.

I was surprised the prices are so high and also surprised the kgirls pay for it. And they even have an agency package smfh.

I did check whether it's a hitpiece because I didn't agree with all the handles listed. But most of the handles are correct. Some of the people listed are definitely same person. Many of the handles were indeed banned by ter (don't ask how I know)

Some pics off the website, no pii here at all

Hope whoever made this site can find new hosting fast.

I don't think scumbaggery that is selling reviews in bulk should be tolerated. And oh yeah, let's the hold the buyers (kgirls in this case) accountable too.

Not surprising, any place that relies on user reviews is overrun by review farms. Why not sex reviews?

The images aren't loading, any way to extract the user handles and post them here?

I just checked - the images are still up. So not sure why you're having issues loading them.

I can extract the names if needed. I'm still waiting on a reply from the person who made all of this - I sent an email to the addy that was on the site before it went kaput.

Imgur blocks VPN/various proxies. Hit the links outside of that and they load.

How girls who are clearly in their 30-40s are getting a profile with a few 8/9 level reviews saying they are in their 20s.  Accurate photos.  Although that may just be the Bookers doing it as well.

It's more than just that. There a number of legitimate mongers that just don't know how to tell how old an Asian, particularly Korean, is. Korean's really take care of their looks starting young, are specialists in makeup and, like other Asians age quite well. Many American guys are clueless and assess the age based on their experience with American women.

Too bad the TER accounts are not more visible (like another mentioned, VPN and imagur don't seem to mix well) or that the evidence for tagging the accounts as paid reviews is not available (other than the ad for the paid review service which is both unsurprising and pretty weak and not really how I think this gets marketed). It would be nice if TER maintained a Wall of Shame page where proven fake reviewers are listed. Don't see that happening and doubt it would really change much as creating new accounts is hardly a challenge and anonymous browsing technology prevalent.

I know there are a lot of differing opinions regarding frequency but a month or so back I read a news story about the fake reviews associated with the Bolliwood film industry. Some of the main players admitted to generating something like 80% plus reviews. I don't think it's that bad here. I personally expect that I see more fake reviews on Amazon than here. The best anyone can really do is know it's happening, expect it to happen and use their best judgement in assessing any review they read.

First it's really weird about imgur and vpn, I use around five different vpns and they all work fine with imgur. In fact, I upload directly to imgur using vpns. But I guess some are blocked? Can you tell me which ones if it's not a secret?

"other than the ad for the paid review service which is both unsurprising and pretty weak and not really how I think this gets marketed"

Well how do you think this gets marketed? Do you have another example to cite? This has some evidence to it.

There are more screenshots of the service advertised. At some point the review seller would only take orders from someone who would be vouched for by another buyer of reviews.

"would be nice if TER maintained a Wall of Shame page where proven fake reviewers are listed"

But why? It doesn't accomplish anything.

The real easy question here is whom does the practice hurt and whom does it help?

It hurts only one entity - the clients.
It helps both kgirls and review sellers.

So what does the wall of shame solve? It doesn't prevent a provider buying reviews and it doesn't prevent a seller of reviews from keeping on selling it.

Now, on the other hand, if ter actually would remove the profile of those who paid for those reviews, then other review buyers would have a deterrent

This is pretty irrelevant but you keep on insisting on bringing this in.

Normalizing a practice that is inherently bad, is pretty disgusting.

You're doing the equivalent of, let's say the problem is political corruption  in the US. You say oh but in many other countries there is even higher corruption rates. So? Why does it matter? Does it somehow invalidate the problem of corruption in the US? Focus on the problem at hand.

You're employing whataboutism here. The amount of fake reviews in bollywood or Amazon is irrelevant to kgirls buying this fake review service in context of TER. This is clearly against ter terms of service.

From all posts I've read, not a single addressed the elephant in the room -the culpability of kgirls.

Wall of shame for kgirls would work a lot better than Wall of shame for fake reviewers imo. Although I suspect some may just rebrand and considering how hard it is to get ter to merge profiles it will be still be challenging.

Still, it is interesting that everyone avoids this. There would be less fake reviews if kgirls didn't buy them or want them. It's pretty clear. So why only suggest a wall of shame for reviewers and not, you know, providers who buy these reviews and keep the review sellers in biz?

Sure put up a wall of shame for all the kgirls - or to be fair and honest ALL providers that are shown to engage in such tactics. (Then again, I'm not entirely sure how you prove the agency K-girls rather than the agency is driving the payments and reviews.)

The fake/paid reviewer wall of shame I assume (seems rather obvious and so needing no mention) would go hand-in-hand with TER's policy of removing those reviews. But sure, if you want to remove the entire profile, good and bad reviews, and take what ever (60% valid, honest reviews, 5%?) out of the information set guys here might have go ahead. Doesn't seem consistent with the reviews are all so important claims you're often making.

Certainly removing the known fake/paid reviews would leave only what has to be accepted honest reviews by the member here should be a good thing, and if it moved the needle to a lower assessment that would certainly impact both the girls and the agency income. So clearly consequences would be present.

A deterrent is created so that a guilty party does not do it again.

How is what you suggesting a deterrent for the buyer of fake reviews?

It is easier to make new accounts on ter - and these review sellers have farms - than for provider to make multiple personalities. A provider cannot be at several different places at the same time. Review seller accounts can. And are.

TER removes a bunch of fake reviews from a girls profile, then provider buys more from new accounts. There's a delay to determine which review accounts are fake. It took ter years to ban a certain shill that would always write first shill reviews of lks girls. Years. Now he and his alias are banned. Yet some of his reviews remain.

A provider who is on wall of shame may rebrand, but ppl will identify her eventually and will trace her to her old profile, and the people who read reviews will know - oh that's the girl/agency who bought fake reviews before.

The point here is to punish the buyer of fake reviews too. You know, how if there's a bribe, both sides get punished?

You seem content with slap on the wrist. I'm a guy who firmly believes that if theft is a problem, slap on the wrists don't work. Cutting fingers does tho.
