DA argument is BS

Is there anyone who works purely for the fun of it? We all work because we really need the money. Based on the DA's definition of consensual, 99% of the working stiffs who have a job are basically taking it up the *ss.  Never mind.   Maybe the DA does have a point.

The article claims:
"Most men also don’t seem to care about the life circumstances of the women whom they pay for sex, Kraft said.
.
“There’s always some trauma, some victimization, that brought these ladies to this room,” he said. “The men don’t care if they (the women) are beaten or pimped or sex-trafficked … You never know who is going to be behind that door.”"
.
Even by the previous newspaper accounts, the League was substantially concerned with the welfare and safety of the hostesses who had come to Seattle voluntarily for the purpose of making money in the trade.  They would blacklist (or whatever they called it) based on bad behavior towards the girls.
.
Hay! Seattle! Consenting adults! Butt out, OK?

making pennies an hour in a factory where the foreman can feel them up all day.  An idiot can see that.

Some good info in there for hobbyists to make note of, especially the car impounding thing.   If in doubt, take a cab or Uber, not your car.

And don't insist on a discount because you got lost.  Jezze Louise!

They used skype or other video means to "verify" the guys vs checking refs, which then had them on video talking about meeting for times, services, etc. when they showed up they just arrested them.

I think they where using BP ads and one thing mentioned $160 for a hour so I suspect they had a TGTBT ad with lower than normal pricing to reel guys in.

Kinda sucks as things are just starting to look up with CIa and Aria stiopping in and LA sera coming for a visit

...sound like they're fugitives from Bellevue.  They exchanged texts asking for specific sex acts.  When they showed up, they specifically talked about paying for sex acts.  One guy wanted a discount because he got lost on the way to the hooker's place.  Morons!

Some of these poor saps are veteran hobbyists.  One guy was charged as part of the prior infamous The League bust.  Another guy told LE he was there just for a massage.  I don't think these guys would be stupid to openly state "I am paying xxx, looking for xxx".  Nevertheless, LE arrested them anyways.  Charges might not stick but they are shaming the hobbyists out of Seattle.

If you show up at a sting you'll get arrested.  Shut up and get a lawyer.  Don't try to "reason with a cop" contrary to advice given by one of the most active posters on these forums.

What you two said make sense to me. I won't be able to avoid the shaming but I don't want to make it easy just in case I fall into their trap. Here is my list of don't that I will refine as I learn more from others:

1. Don't discuss sex acts beforehand (just do it)
2. Don't discuss donation (let them tell me)
3. Don't provide anything (ID or personal info) except the usual
4. Don't take out donation unless I feel safe to do so (and still staying mum after like it does not exist)
5. Try to park far away to avoid having my plate captured (they can use this to arrest you later)
6. Don't say why I am there (ask if I am arrested, and if I am screwed then I better shut up and get bail or a lawyer)

I followed the first four since the beginning, the rest and more depends on my gut feeling and what I have learned.

After the Seattle bust I am more careful with new numbers, especially if they don't verify me or go through the normal process. I thought they were capable of exactly this and that was just made real by this article. If I am in Seattle, I would change number and not contacting anyone because who knows what they have access to now?

It was interesting this all started because a neighbor was suspicious. I am also worried agencies are lax about these things. Some places have so much foot traffic that I can only smh. Only thing I can do is trying to be discreet and invisible. That's not easy when the big head is not in control. It does not help that I pound on the floor as I walk. I am not a ninja or a cat man.

The neighbor complaint + murder of a working girl + federal grant to stop human trafficking + a bored DA looking for something to boost his political agenda.  First round wiped out kgirl action in Seattle, this time wiped out or scared off cgirl business.  What's scary is historically these efforts has been focused on underage trafficking, AMPs and streetwalkers.  Their "success" in Seattle might motivate DAs in other cities to do the same.

In the linked article the DA is quoted as saying that P4P is not consensual. He said that it can't ever be consensual when one person is providing money to someone who really needs it.

I have not heard of that argument before.

Except for 1-2 few years apart, rarely do neighbors and such report on the girls.  LA seems to have "its none of my business" attitude.  Thank god for us horny guys!!!

of the guys busted at the incall showed up with flowers?   Lol

SPD constantly do big busts like this. This is the first time when they set up a AAMP though. All the other times they create a fake MP and go on an arresting binge. Sad thing is that guys keep falling for it.

The kgirl bust from last year though.... to this day the prosecutor's office and other LE agencies try to justify it as being necessary even though they didn't do shit. No kgirl was "rescued" that day. None seeked asylum. None of those arrested have been charged with trafficking. So stupid. LE is trying as hard as they can to create a trafficking narrative to justify all these arrests. In reality, it's a huge money-maker in court costs and fines. If there's anything Seattle loves more than being fake liberals is squeezing money out of its residents.

There is also so much back story to the "League" as well... hate that stupid fucking name. Bunch of morons really that were going through a midlife crisis and a bunch of hustla wannabes.

Apologies for my rant....

How fucking bored must they be to set up a sting like this and arrest a ton of guys.

It's like a small town with an excess of cops who just park behind a bush all day and bust people for going 1mph over the speed limit.

I can't help feeling pity for all these johns. This is why we need to legalize prostitution everywhere.
There's a 22 year old who got arrested for fuck sake.  He just wants to get laid instead of jacking off to Pornhub, and the girls on Tinder aren't giving it up easy. Leave the kid alone.
The money he spends on a hooker stimulates the economy when she buys expensive shoes.
We'd probably reduce half our national debt if we legalized prostitution and gave these girls 1099's.
Most hookers get away with not paying any taxes.
So long as prostitution is illegal, they're just going to pocket that cash and not report it.

They made gay marriage legal recently.
What will it take to make prostitution legal ....
Those assholes in D.C hire escorts all the time, but aren't man enough to vote on it.
