For me it's just the opposite. Leaving slack at the tip/head increases the sensation and feel, by providing some sliding on my skin. This is why FC2 feel so so much better, too. Snug fit just blocks sensation and decreases sensation and feel.
And there's no air space when a girl snug on me, or squeezing me, except out at the "Enz"; my skin gets the full contact pleasure with plenty of slack in the condom and the air gets squeezed away to somewhere there isn't that pressure.
Condoms that are tapered to provide secure snugness or constriction at the base of my shaft and slip-sliding around the head are best for feel, second to FC2 of course.

This simplest solution to this that I have found is to simply BYOC. They’ll always fit just the way you like it. None of those too tight or too loose or too thick condoms again. And, if you pull them out of the package and start to put them on she’ll either help you (giving you a chance to express a preference on how she can help) or she won’t. IME they’ll always try to help, which I like. Either way you’re back in control of a key component of the great experience you’re looking for.
I tried it before, but meh still not a fan. And there have been some misunderstandings with condoms, believe it or not.
Those girls who suffocate you, still do it with your own condoms. It's really about rolling vs stretching, as rolling leaves some air. I can just do it myself, but many times girls insist on doing it.
