Right now it is 1:20 AM CDT and I just walked in the door after a night out with my current favorite SB. I am just not going to be bullied by the state "for my own good" Many County Sheriffs and other Law Enforcement have gone on record stating that they will NOT be enforcing these unconstitutional edicts issued by hypocritical politicians like Gavin Newsom who thinks those rules are only for the "little people"
Maybe all of you in California have lost both your brains and your balls, but here in Texas, (or most of it at least) we still believe in the rights of the individual. The thought of local law enforcement where I live enforcing a 10 PM curfew for otherwise law abiding citizens is laughable.
For the record, I often run my crews 24 hours a day when conducting drilling operations. Of course in the eyes of Gavin Newsome his dinner party is "essential" but my business and the livelihoods of me and my employees is not. Fuck him and anyone else who expects me to follow laws that they think don't apply to themselves.
I'd say newsom probably lost his higher political aspirations because of hypocrisy and lying.
But then, pretty much all politicians are hypocrites and liars who probably lied enough to deserve the chair, and people dont seem to care.

Back to Newsom, Governor of the largest state in the country is a pretty rarified air, but I agree his chances for national office are probably done for. Just keeping the job he has is hardly a certainty.

This curfew is happening in the context of a pandemic. You can't just disregard that in the same way you could mongering before the pandemic.
