Many of my kgirls are considered to be legends and been around for 10+ years. My last legend was here for about 20 years and returned to Korea couple of months ago at the age of approximately 43 yo but looks more like mid 30s
but am curious about the question it self. Maybe just idle curiosity without any meaning behind it but if not, just insights would one gain by knowing the average duration of a K-girls working career? In other words, if we learned that the average is 6 months, what questions (other than what's the average) shed light on?
have already finished their first career in Soeul as "salon girls." Some start as young as 18 and have aged out by 30 and are let go by management. At 30 years old, they are just coming into their sexual prime, and with the experience they got working in salons, it's a logical step to look to California as a new place to work. They have usually already been contacted by "recruiters" who frequent the salons looking for girls that are no longer popular due to their age. If you don't know about how the salon scene operates, start a new thread and we can discuss it.
Once here, they can work as long as they can bring in the customers, or until they meet a specific financial goal they had set for themselves. Some of you may have seen the legend Aya, in OC several years ago. She achieved her goal of $250,000 in savings over about 5 years and went back to Korea and opened a hair salon. She has been a hairdresser working for someone else and doing a little salon work on the side before she came here. She wanted to be her own boss and becoming a Kgirl made her dream a reality. For some, it might be five years, for others 10, 15, or rarely, even 20 years. There are a few legends who kept themselves in great shape and were able to pass for late 30's as their biological age passed 50. If these girls haven't got a regular who is retired and can afford to take care of them in the US, they will return to Korea at some point. Their first choice is to look for a marriage with a deep-pocket man and stay in the US indefinitely. I know a couple of former mongers who married one of their regulars. I was invited to the wedding of one Kgirl/monger couple, but since I had also been a customer of the bride, I did not go, even though the groom was a hobby bro of mine. This couple is about 7-8 years in, and they are still together.
Nowadays, much more difficult for a newly arrival to make this a profitable career. Just to many competitions from other Kgirls, Jgirls and Cgirls. I predict those legend kgirls will be driven out of business and back to korea.
