K-girls

Is this business model showing up on the left coast?

Just curious.

Over the past two years or so, in NYC, some AMP providers break away and go a bit more upscale.  They rent an apartment, and run a pseudo agency.  One maybe two girls are there at the same time, usually only one.  No walk ins, and definitely more GFE.  Better from my perspective because less likely to get seen walking in/out.

Did this ordinate on the West Coast, or has it shown up there?  Maybe that is part of the reason for the talent drain you've observed.

The first "A" is for Apartment.  This is the model used here for many years.  AMP's are still traditional store front massage parlors for the most part, but many now offer full service.  Price is lower, but the girls are either inexperienced or not as attractive as the apartment Kgirl hookers.

For as long as I can remember, the kgirls always used this model.

I'm not sure about other cities, but Korean AMPs in this area mainly employ much older women.

as neighbors would complain.

I recall going to an AMP in Queens, NY, which was over a Korean restaurant.   Strictly by invitation only.  When the gals weren't busy, they'd help out downstairs.  It was a quiet street with wholesale type businesses, very little foot traffic.  At the end of the session, I'd get quite the Korean feast sometimes.

I've always thought that would be a great business model, from a security standpoint anyways.

I do not go to the spa-like places in Boston, NY or anyplace else. I can't say much about them. I never found a regular AMP in Boston that I felt comfortable with. My Boston A-escapades have mostly been in what you are calling AAMPs. One the best closed up shop a couple of years ago when the owner decided to retire and get out of the biz ... and no one took over for her. Rats.

In NYC, there are plenty of spas (but I haven't been). There are many non-spa AMPs in an assortment of commercial space or residential-like space.  And then there are the AAMPs, as well. One batch of AMPs, mostly KMPs, are very reliable non-GFE or GFE-optional with some girls (for an extra fee). The new wave of AMPs, not exclusively K-girls, offer standard GFE at a higher than non-GFE price. The AAMPs tend to be higher-end GFE and sometimes GFE+ and more. The AAMP atmosphere is different (nicer) and the experience is sometimes much nicer, too. All of the AMP, AMP+, and AAMP that I know accommodate appointments on short notice, depending on availability. I have never had to book days in advance.

The AMPs tend to have a lot of local girls who like NYC and don't tour or move around too much. There is not a lot of turn over of the staff. The AAMPs often host the touring girls. They might stay for 2wks or so and then head off to LV, LA, DC, etc. The high turn over means you have to hope for someone's quick review to post if you hope to get in to see someone before she heads out to another city.

impposter,

You hit your head right on the nail with what I am seeing in NYC.  I can't go to the AMP's because I wear a suit everyday to work.  See CDL's comments about blending in.  That does not happen as I walk down Mott Street or 33rd.

With the AAMP's the turnover is incredibly high and the good ones are gone to quickly.  Do you cozy up to the MMS to get first choice with the ladies or find another way?  I can pay to play, but time is the obstacle.

Getting kicks on Route 66.  Or maybe the Dulles Toll Road. Rt 66 sounds better.

much older women at AMP's.  These places are like the elephant burial ground for Kgirls that lived the high life and blew all of their money.  They still have to survive so they're working now for tips.

You confused me: you can NOT walk down Mott or 33rd because you don't blend in? I can understand that, but I see guys in business suits all over the city! And it depends on the time of day, of course. Years ago, I went to a place in the E 30s or 40s in the late evening (midnite-ish). There was a limo parked right in front on the quiet street with a driver inside. I went up to my meeting and, due to a screw-up, I came face to face with an older white haired gentleman in a towel coming out of the TS as I was being led in. Whoops! "After you, my dear Alfonse." When I left, the limo was still there on the street. I assume that Alfonse was some rich guy and the limo was his ride. And I assume that his normal was a business suit and not a fluffy white towel.

But what about:
1a. Change clothes at work; take a long break; go back to the office and change back into suit.
1b. Bring sports bag with casual clothes to/from work; stop off at a decent hotel and change in a public restroom; continue to destination.
2. Stumble down 33rd and people will think you're a DRUNK businessman coming out of any local bar. (Yeah, watch out for becoming a target for muggers.)

If it's during the day, some business suits would blend in easily in some of the commercial buildings. Maybe you're just another sales rep or buyer going to guys on the third floor.  You just happen to hit the wrong button and go to the gals' place on the fourth floor.

Sometimes, you just have to TOFTT at a reputable AAMP. Sometimes, you can find the girls' Profiles and reviews from their previous stints in other locations.

Good luck! Have fun!

Thank you for the advice. I like option #2 to blend in as I already have years of practice.  Sometimes blending in is more of a state of mind.  Of course I am conscious of walking down 33rd in a suit, but no one else gives a damn.

In Vegas, until recently, we had some of the best amps. Mostly Chinese/Thai. But after door fee, $140 for full enthusiastic service. Many were GFE, especially as a repeat customer. Sadly, LE closed a bunch of them down and what's left is sometimes FS, but much lower quality.
