I missed TER for a long long time. I hadnt realized it came back.

So I'm looking through reviews since I'm back in LV for a few days and seeing a fair amount of bbfs reviews from k-girls in town.

About 3 years ago, openly advertising BBFS started in the bay area.  It spread to SoCal about two years ago, after CityVibe and TER both  went dark within a month of each other, there was chaos in the market and girls were desperate for business.  Advertising BBFS in Vegas started about 18 months ago while TER was dark in the US.  I'm not aware of BBFS being openly advertised in other parts of the country.  

 
With that said, we each have our own level of risk tolerance, and how much danger was can accept and still enjoy ourselves.  A lot of finding a comfort level depends on our personal situation.  Guys with wives or in long-term relationships may be wise to think long and hard about whether to take a dip  in the BBFS pool.  Those that are single are usually a little more cavalier about the risks.  As you mentioned, most bacterial infections can put you out of action for a few weeks until the meds run their course, and are at worst, an inconvenience.  These are quite common in the BBFS scene.  The ones that are life-changing are the viral STD's, HSV2 and HIV, which have no cure.  Even though I'm single, these are the ones that concern me.  I don't want to catch one of these and have it be a dealbreaker for some woman if I decide someday to marry again.  

 
While I will admit that I have enjoyed BBFS with YMMV girls in the past, I just can't bring myself to see girls that are advertising BBFS openly.  Its one thing to be one of a half dozen regulars with a girl that is giving each of us BBFS, its quite another to see a girl who is advertising openly who is doing BBFS with every  swinging dick who walks through the door.  The average BBFS girl may see, on average 120-150 unique customers a month, and each of those customer may see an average of 4-6 girls a month, so its easy to start crunching the numbers to see that, even with a low infection rate, the longer you are doing BBFS, the more likely you will get some STD's.  I have had two several years ago,  both times gonorrhea, easily cured with antibiotics within two weeks.  I have also known several guys that got HSV2 from a Kgirl.  In each case, they had to quit hobbying.  There is always the concern that some guys would take the attitude that they've already got it, so now they have nothing to lose, and keep on going BB, even though they know they have it.  I have not heard of anyone getting HIV from a Kgirl.

I think CDL summed it up pretty well. We all take risks when fucking hookers, it all depends on your risk tolerance, but a woman who openly advertises BBFS, especially a woman as "busy" as the typical K-Girl is likely to have had bare back sex with literally thousands of different men, most of whom who also would be considered VERY high risk themselves since they are actively seeking unprotected sex with prostitutes.

It is really hard to get out of NK. It is known that NK sends workers to a few selected countries where they work in factories, restaurants, construction, etc., and their NK handlers confiscate most of their wages and send it back to the gov coffers. Does anybody here know any real (authenticated) NK girls in the biz? Did they escape from NK or are they forced into the biz by the NK government. As CLD says, if you really speak Korean like a native born person you will notice a difference. My understanding is that is is more then merely accent. Words are a bit different in some cases.  

You can find the same here in the USA. If you wanted to hear speech patters that are like that spoken in the colonial and early period of the USA go to deep Appalachia. They have been rather isolated from the changes in the rest of the country and preserved those culture and patterns. Same seems to be true of North Korea when compared to the South.

One thing you can check for though, look on the inside of the left butt cheek. There will be a small Kim Jong Un "little fatty" tattoo. That's so they can show their loyalty by always sitting on the leaders face.

As CDL says, the SK girls will frequently tell you which girls are from North Korea. Many South Koreans look down on the North Korean refugees. I admit to having been quite surprised to see the truth of that the first time I visited Korea. South Koreans, in my experience, frequently tend to be quite xenophobic.
