Another big factor is The TER Top 100 list for each city. Years ago in New York there was a very popular white MILF — porn-star looks, lots of enhancements, super nice attitude, great service, and hundreds of glowing reviews. But NYC is brutal; even with all that, the best she ever reached on the TER Top 100 was around top 10 or top 5, never the top 3 or #1. After I saw her a couple of times, she moved her TER profile and all her reviews from New York to D.C. Almost overnight she shot to #1 in D.C. and stayed there for a year or two until she retired. As far as I know, she was the first provider to do this — switch the city on her reviews to a place with less competition so she could hit the top spot. She never actually moved to D.C.; she still lived and worked in NYC. But once she had “#1 on TER D.C. Top 100” to put in her ads, it was pure gold for marketing. Smart move that paid off big time.
I’m getting kinda frustrated at all the results that are showing up in my Bay Area searches that are actually in Tustin or Tysons or Tempe or Boston or wherever else.
It definitely reduces the usefulness of the local searches. I’m assuming that this is happening because girls have two or three, even four or five orgs listed in their profiles.
Anyone have comment on this or better yet a potential solution?
But, are you trying to find escorts by running a search on the location? I kind of used to do that at times years ago and often was okay but even then would show girls that were elsewhere so it's not really a great find-a-local-escort function. Probably, if that is what you were doing and getting frustrated with output, best to just use your local ad sites to see who is there or coming and then just search the name or TER ID.
I don't think the ad site or agency URLs have anything to do with this -- should just be the City and Other City Serviced that drive the location results. Session Location (in review, rather than the profile) has nothing to do with results I don't think.
Not all the orgs use TER, so if an update happens it's likely because a guy updated for them. The solution would be the girl and org has the profile updated when they move cities but don't hold your breath.
