Since the "Crazy Primate" website is still around, will Cityvibe return to provide another ad alternative to the EM.  Cityvibe was my longtime mid-morning read to see who was available that day.

With CityVibe you had a central place to go to see the ads and the “available now” feature could save you a lot of time. EM is  a Joke with too many contrived listings. I don’t know why CityVibe didn’t re-incorporate in a safe overseas haven has did TER. Now it’s a struggle to navigate all the individual websites. Humaniplex helps but it too has its limitations.

It was too easy for sex traffickers to use that site.  All you needed to post an ad was a phone number and a photo.  That's why they closed up due to FOSTA/SESTA a full month before TER went dark in early 2018.  Some of the pages are still in an archive, so I will visit and have a look once in awhile for a little nostalgia.  Its amazing that there were often over 100 girls advertising on any given day in LA and OC had another 40-50 on their board.

I think the domain name is available for purchase if you want. Price is going down it seems, a while back I think they were asking 1.2 million or so. Now it's mid 600K

While fragmented forums and sites arent good for providers or mongers, what they're good for is not attracting a lot of attention.

When a site gets too big for its own good, it will attract attention. Review sites have been able to circumvent this, but sites that have more explicit classifieds/ads dont want to get too big to be noticed.

I don't think it's as simple as having your domain an servers hosted offshore.

Cityvibe will never return again at any one point.

The site went offline and it was pretty clear it would not be returning.

I think the individual org website setup is better for posting provider listings and is less prone to being taken down.

Most of the pics were real with minimal photoshop and when TER and Cityvibe worked together they were a compelling combination that provided insight on the actual looks and performance of the girls there.

accidently found it searching for porn..  couldn't believe the site was legit.  thought some LE trap.  but all the girls and the TER links to the reviews made me less hesitant to go for it.  which i did and the rest was history.  now that its gone and all the indy websites that you have to go through its nervous whether its LE stings or not.

I really like the model described in the attached article.

I doubt that it would work in the U.S. due to legal issues. But a guy can dream.

I had a love/hate relationship with the old MRB.

Loved the access. Absolutely hated the toxic environment. It makes the worst I’ve seen on TER look as if it’s just a mildly annoying at times. Those guys took great pleasure in being over the top antagonistic. They delighted in telling everyone that, on mrb you needed to “put on your Nomex/asbestos underpants”. I don’t think they ever heard an ad hominem attack they didn’t like.

Same girl with multiple bookers,  fake pics,  same houses with different names, same girls wih different names, etc were happening less with CV.

Did anyone look at the attached link describing an up and coming booking methodology and site that is based on it? Thoughts?

I agree it's not likely to work anywhere escorting is both illegal and fairly strictly enforced, such as the USA. I had seen it a few times in the Philippines, where prostitution is illegal but very common and generally not enforced (hotels have no problem with girls coming which makes it a bit safer as they will copy/hold the girls ID as the desk).

Seems a bit, not quite but a bit, like Uber for hookers -- not to get them a ride but so you can find the ride closest to you.

There is still the issue of "quality control" a good reputation needs to be earned to gain the publics trust, just look at all the fake reviews on even a site like TER, and of course it will only work in jurisdictions where prostitution is legal or at least tolerated. I don't expect to see them launch in the US anytime soon, or EVER for that matter. lol

Bangkok is where it got started. I believe it remains their most active market.

That said, I haven’t used it yet. I just find it to be an interesting model.
