A slight misunderstanding!

I hope we don't go ballistic over this. I think BP's point is that if you list a link in the message body, it will appear there but you can't just click on it and be directed to that link. TER notes that "HTML tags are not allowed in message body." Scroll down and put the link in the spaces provided below the message box.. it took me a while to understand this and hell, I've been around here for years.  Ciao!

We all know that the review structure and process is not perfect -- few things ever are and even fewer last more than a fleeting instance.

I was struck by the by the discussion about honest review, what's advertised, what the first reviewer does and what remains in the profile.

I think most think about the situation incorrectly. Yes, it's likely that the data in the reviews and the ads and the profile are not 100% scientific facts. The problem is none of us are (or only a very select few are, and I suspect they would be fools to present the credentials to prove it) in a position to know any of it with certainty on a number of things. Yes, ad claims a C cup and the girl is maybe a B at best okay most will get that. Ad claims 100 pounds but the girl is 5' 8" with some fat we know it's not true. I think those cases are rare.

We end up where it's the girl is 110  but someone thinks she's more like 120 or she gets rated a 9 but someone doesn't like the shape of her face and claims it can only be a 7 or the ad says 21 - 25 and some think she's closer to or over 30.

I'm pretty sure I've met people in real life that I cannot accurately state their age and I'm surer it's true in this situation as well. For me then, if the ad says X unless I card or the age difference is really, really huge I probably should just report the age in the ad and comment on what I thought of the looks. As noted in the other thread, age have pros and cons here so do we really care that much.

Same for looks -- what are we rating the looks on. I think a lot of people pick the number based on their over all reaction to the girls face. Personally I'm dealing with the entire person so face counts and so does the body. So for me, even if the face is not collectively the perfect face I'm going to think about things like eyes, smile, maybe ears or nose or neck as well as the rest of the body when choosing a number.

I suspect that means I'm doing things that might not be anything like the thought process others go through. So if they look at my rating of the lady they will probably start had a different image in mind if they make an appointment, be all upset claiming I write fake reviews and bitch about how useless the system is. But that's because they are not using the reviews properly -- or at least using them practically.

When I look at other peoples reviews I'll read the text and look at how they scored other providers as well as look at those reviews. The goal here is to get an idea of how that person evaluates so I can better use their review for my choices. More work, yes. I'd argue better results as I tend to end up seeing ladies I think are in the 8-9 range in looks and can then give a good review to them.  What's good about this is that I can also get value from someone that would give the same person 7s and have a comfort level that I won't be disappointed.

This doesn't solve the whole what rates 6 what rates 7 what rates 8... that could somehow hold for all of us -- there is no NIST or ISO standard that is well defined like a gram or a calorie or a meter or a coulomb or amp so we should try to be more pragmatic about things. We should stop thinking everyone needs to see things "my way" so I can understand their review and think about seeing the review the the reviewers eyes/mind. Clearly we're not going to be able to do that for every reviewer on TER but then we don't need to . We needs to learn a handful of people, 10 or less I would think, and from there the research is pretty easy.

...is entitled to call it as he sees it.

But when a profile is created, the physical description should be as objective as possible.  TER has no weight category - the ads mention weight and it seems the reviewers are influenced by that stat.  TER only has body sizes such as average, thin, athletic, baby fat, etc.  You're not being asked to be a carnival worker guessing people's weight.  Yet guys are surprised when they show up and the provider is "baby fat" when the profile says "thin."

Again, I think it's due to either reviewer laziness or fear of offending the bookers.  The problem is far more prevalent among K-girl profiles than indies.  Also, I can't recall the last time three indies shared the same photo.

You need to take things much less seriously. The link (or text url if that's what TER posts) was mostly provided due to the definitions of it referencing cumming.

Papa was referring to my use of secure HTTP: https://.... in the link I pasted into the post.

Not sure about others but in the current setting of good bandwidth and speed I'd be concerned about sites that don't support https and all the browsers I use are configured in one way on another to use that protocol if it's supported.

I knew that was what he was talking about but I always forget that TER doesn't allow the tags. In any case it's hardly a huge effort to highlight the text, open another tab or window, paste and hit enter.

Thanks for passing it on though -- took  me a while to realize that's what TER required as well -- even if I seldom do things the TER hyperlink way ;-)
