On another forum, I was told that it can be difficult to see a K-girl for the first time, as it's something of a closed community, and a guy needs recommendations from someone already in.

Is this true? If so, how does one go about getting "in"?

 If you are legit I would suggest you utilize the search feature on TER and do some groundwork . You may wish to start with the LA's regional board if you are from  LA .  

If you wish to use an alias make sure it is one who has contributed to the discussion and discourse on the board .

I post often on the General Discussion forum, and frequently in the Newbie forum. Occasionally in the Atlanta subforum.

I use my alias because I don't feel like taking grief in the General forum for my reviews (anyone who spends any amount of time in that forum will likely understand). If I'd known that using an alias in my post here would be a problem, I would have used my real handle.

I'm from Alabama, but have to go to Atlanta to find good providers. The Korean provider I'm interested in is in Atlanta.

You can't use your real handle now on this board because you have identified where you live.  Don't take a chance on outing yourself.

Dude you are lucky close to Atlanta.  Search for exotic Atlanta something like that.  They are the only k-agency in US who uses p411      All other agencies require you to reveal your real identity to them.
