Kun is the adjective form for big/large. It's also used to refer to one's older sister (kun nuna) when a boy has two older sisters. At one point Twonon was complaining about having found another kumiho so didn't know how to reference them. Using kun accomplished that for him and his original addition is now kun kumiho.
