K-girls

I've posted before on this subject, especially . . .

Your safety is our safety. Act like a resident and not hanging around waiting so obviously. Don't knock unless booker says it's OK or enter a room when there are people around.

I saw stucaboy's post here about the legal fight of two reviewers in Seattle which leads to a very good read about what happened there. I am not so afraid that I will stop reviewing or seeing Kgirls, but this only reminds me the success in Seattle can encourage them to target other hotspots elsewhere.

At the risk of preaching to the choir, I think we should be careful giving out advice to someone with no history like with the thread right below. It's great to see people watching out for and help each other. I appreciate most posters here, especially my holy trinity of coeur-de-lion, dancebbq09, and mufftime...

But if we don't know who is asking, best not to make it easy for them even though the info is readily available. I even hope we can remove such info. Any info that reveals the business even a little is risky. If they can, they will try to make a few successful appointments (and may even perform the acts) to gather evidences. Am I wrong to think all it takes is one compromised agency, or girl, or a hobbyist and... :-@

Most people probably trusts in the closed loop model. But not too long ago, I was able to get my foot in without providing any info about myself and know nothing about the hobby so I think differently. The business may be more careful now, but still...

I think I will crawl back into a hole again and pop up now and then with reviews. I have nothing to contribute anyway because I am not curious about the business and just focus on appreciating K girls.

May be I will try to make myself even more invisible like riding my bicycle to see K girls. Not sure what to do about all the security cameras at the entrance, perhaps getting "fake mustache" from K girls.

What would coeur-de-lion do?

last fall when a crazy loon was taking photos of guys entering AAMP's and posting them online.  First let me say that I am in total agreement about being too trusting of guys on the board with NO reviews asking questions about screening, locations, etc.  That's how the Seattle LE infiltrated the local market, by pretending to be fellow hobbyists.  I realize everyone starts out with NO reviews, but when a guy has been on the boards for a year and still has NO reviews, you have to be suspicious.  Guys that PM for intel using their alias know I don't respond unless they use their real username.  We have to know who we're talking to.

What would CDL do?

I have a routine I follow when hobbying that makes me feel safe and supplements my anonymity on the boards.  First, blend in with the locals.  If its a mediocre building with not a lot of guys around wearing a suit, I don't wear a suit.  I always keep a change of clothes in my car.  Be aware of security cameras.  I rarely park in an apartment garage because they all have security cameras.  I always take a quick look in elevators to see if there is a camera.  If so, I keep my head down and turn my back to the camera.  Know your surroundings, and be aware of any lurking; guys standing around or in one place talking on cell phones. Military training helps with this awareness, so vets know what I'm talking about.  In a complex with a few hundred apartments, there is bound to be people moving about, but its rare to see legit residents standing around.  ALWAYS make eye contact and smile and say hello when you pass a resident in the hallway.  Looking away or averting your eyes makes you look suspicious, so you draw unnecessary attention to yourself.  If you look like you belong there in the building, you will not be memorable to anyone that notices you.  Probably the MOST important tip is NEVER be observed entering an incall.  If there are other people about, I walk PAST the incall door and keep walking until the other people are out of site, and then I double back and go in.  Sometimes this safety move takes five or ten minutes, which comes off of my time, which explains why its the most overlooked by most hobbyists who seemed obsessed with getting their full 60 minutes regardless of the risks that are present.   This is my standard safety protocol for every incall I go to, and so far, its served me well, and more importantly, given me complete peace of mind so I can enjoy myself without worrying who might have seen me go in or taken my photo.

The one time I was heading to a visit, the next door neighbors were exiting their apartment. I greeted them and walked past the apartment I was going to visit, all the way to the end of the hall where I was able to turn. Looked around for any other people, peeked over and made sure the neighbors left and headed back to the apartment door.

Happy to share because I felt like successfully sneaky, but not really.

This has been pretty well discussed and, as might be expected, people are going to do what they are going to do.

If you read the link you'll know that (assuming this was true) such stings can run years so that don't trust the new, unknown ID with no reviews is largely a useless approach. Don't trust ANYONE. None of us are here individually or collectively to keep everyone safe -- we do that for ourselves in a way that we don't really care or reckless or stupid others are. One of the smartest things one can do in that effort is make sure you don't know who the other people are and that they don't know who you are. We all just virtual personas to one another and that's really a good way to keep things.

The point about situational awareness and blending in are quite valid but I'd add that you need to have in your own mind that you belong there, have every right to be there and are not doing anything wrong. Sure, it's against the law but that doesn't make it wrong, just illegal. The reason I say that is that if you're not able to view what you're doing pretty much as you would visiting a friend or walking into a supermarket or hotel while on vacation you will never look natural and people will pick up on that.

The fact is that most people are self-centered which means "you" (generic person) think everyone is watching what you're doing while they are thinking about themselves and how others are paying attention to what they are doing.

I do remember what CDL would do about the parking camera, but not the entrance/elevator camera. It's good for me to repeat your protocol like a mantra for future visits. I am just too gung ho and carefree so still act stupid many times.

Need to remember to park far away to avoid having my license plate being seen. Keeping my head down and turn my back from the camera is a sensible thing to do, and of course I would do the opposite because I thought I really was a resident there given how many times I come back LOL. I thought about getting a wig and mustache, but they don't look flattering so I quit. J/K.

It's too late for me to remain completely anonymous because I started out knowing nothing. I could have used untraceable email address, gift cards, phone, and IP address. Knowing what I know now, I could have become a complete black hole. Then again, even a black hole cannot stay hidden. Que sera sera.

Good luck everyone.

"Don't trust ANYONE". I was trying to be less heavy handed and shut down all discussion.

"None of us are here individually or collectively to keep everyone safe". So all I am asking is do what you can to be safe because your safety means our safety, and exposing a location will haunt all of us.

I act like I belong there all the time, even think nothing of the camera. So I joke and wonder what CDL would do about it? If I can avoid having my grinning face on camera, I would like to know.

As for the articles, the author did a commendable job for having such an insightful and non-judgmental view into K world. The articles were great, says he who reads a couple paragraphs and thinks TL;DR.

I manage to skimp through it and feel it resonating with me. Lives are ruined and the repercussions are not finished yet because someone decided to "rescue" K-girls who did not ask to be rescued. There are worse evils afoot, but I think those guys brought too much attention on themselves and became too lax in thinking they are untouchables that they became low hanging fruits.

I feel very bad about what happened in Seattle and do not want to see it happening elsewhere so I have a knee-jerk reaction to discuss it again for awareness. I hear about the 3 years sting and think with time and funding, anything is possible. I do not mention that for fear of causing panic. This is why I want to stress the importance of not making things easy and become the low hanging fruits. Those who are meant to be in this world will find their way in without us posting sign posts for all to see.

Well, I don't think not trusting strangers means you cannot have discussions or conversation. It's all about content and that is a judgement call where a number of opinions exist among those here.

say a word this time about you being a moron.  You did it for me.  If you're trying to be humorous, I think most here would agree that its just not your thing.  Keep you day job, or your unemployment check, whichever applies.

Ha ha. I thought of that too, including baseball cap, huge sunglasses, or face mask to protect my beautiful skin from pollutants, etc.

Then I get a headache from all the thinking and think, screw this, they cramp my style.  How can I "blend in" looking like a walking freak show?

So I will just walk in like a player because I am really here to see my girlfriends, you got a problem with that? That's how I play it cool. Only times when I lose my cool is when I am in a new building or those big mazes. Then I would be walking around like WTF, where is the damn room? Or when I try to get out, WTF, where is the flaming elevator?

Apologize to all the guys out there because I am a disgrace. I am the moron who pops out of a building in the most unusual exit. I would be like WTF, where the hell am I dude? After a session, I would simply forget where I came from.

My post is really a wake-up call to myself, and hopefully non-vets, to be more cautious. I repeat the things I ought to do. I am really trying to fix myself. I will paste the safety protocols discussed here into my phone. Next time as I get out of the elevator, I will note which room is next to it. Sigh, I am a lover, not a spy. Why is this so complicated?

Please don't tell me to quit for I am already addicted. May the K-Goddesses smile on us all.

As long as you don't start drawing maps on notebook paper of the path in, then using them to get back out you (and others) will be just fine ;-)
