Fuck me!

Republicans need to get a grip.

Ever since fang fang Republican lawmakers have been acting like frustrated church goers.  With their latest announcement, they think Chinese massage parlors are actually spy networks.

Fuck them!!!

A quick Google of “massage parlors national security” turns up nothing recent.

The Democrat-run DOJ and DHS are going after k-girl orgs in northern Virginia and Boston. This isn't a Republican or Democrat thing. It's a government over-reach bullshit thing. These bureaucrats try to take simple P4P and blow it up into a case of international espionage. That's how they advance their careers. Plain and simple. And unless you have Robert Kraft money, they know you won't be able to fight back.

It is interesting to note, however, that Democrat Eric Swalwell actually DID sleep with a Chinese spy. That's been proven. And what happened to him? Virtually nothing. He lost a committee assignment. Minor slap on the wrist. Because if you are "in the club," there is no accountability. The rules are different for him than they are for the rest of us. As always.

Neither seem to make strong case that republicans are pushing some Chinese AMP == Spy Netowrks.

Perhaps the best quote (from what I bothered reading):
"This alliance of local cops, federal immigration agents, and federal detectives is nothing new, of course. As I explained in a Reason feature on "Operation Cross Country," they've been teaming up to monitor and round-up immigrant sex workers since the turn of the 20th century. It has waxed and waned in urgency over the decades since. But the Bush/Obama panic over prostitution has combined with Donald Trump's war on undocumented immigrants to intensify the efforts."

But sure, it is hardly news that loose women and sex is part of the espionage tool kit.  But I would think a more targeted effort my glean more information than the corner AMP.

Old articles. I’m still curious as to what specifically prompted rgh to post this complaint about Republicans.

I would question the general thesis aount needing Robet Krat money. I do agree that in that case he was instrumental in showing the excess overreach and violation of individual rights. However, I don't think if the government made a habbit of spending millinos on investigation of the average joe who is just engagedin P4P activities that the majority would tolorate it. Even most of the "moral majority" care more about their taxes than individual sins that are not visible or causing them direct discomfort.

I think most would be happy with an out of sight, out of mind approach over having the government spending millions on investigations to stop prostitution when it is purely a voluntary arrangement.

I would certainly be happier with that approach, but it doesn't appear to be the one we are getting.

Shouldnt this be in p&r or at least general discussion?

Don't get what this has to do with kgirls at all

Agreed. Really not about K-Girls or even Asian providers. Seems, if I can make any sense out of it given the dated material that seems to have prompted the post, to be largely a political statement than anything else.

Well, admin decisions here are a bit like "hooker math", generally something of a mystery but operating according to its own logic.
