There have been a number of times she has taken several consecutive months off. Her current hiatus of 9 months is her second longest since she started working in the US. The longest was 2017-2018. Most of her "vacations" have been two to three months at a time. She was only supposed to be gone 2-3 months this time, but now it's 9, so it's anyone's guess if she will be back anytime soon.
