Hi, I'm visiting in a couple weeks, are there any areas in indianpolis I should avoid? Or what areas are the best to get a hotel in?

Downtown is great. Safe and clean. There are several hotels in various price ranges. Availability depends on conventions. The north side of Indy is very nice. Afound the Fashion Mall (Keystone and 86th St) or in the Castleton area. Enjoy the city.
