Anyone planning on coming to town the week of the Indy 500?  It does not look like much is available in Indy right now...

I looked at the schedule and it seems to be all week long, if I came it would be the 23rd-27th and depending on pre bookings. Is this normally a good time to visit?

as I'm visiting Indianapolis for the first time next week. Unbeknownst to me when I was planning my trip, the Indy 500 occurs near when I'll be visiting. I was a little bummed to find that no official events will be going on at the Speedway for the days I'll be in Indy. But I'm still super excited to explore the city and other attractions.

Not sure what has happened, but I was expecting some top rated touring girls the weeks leading up to the race, and either I have missed them or they all stay away from Indianapolis.  It might just be bad business, or Law enforcement pressure, but it was better a few years ago. Here is to hoping somebody surprises me, but I am not expecting it.  Best wishes to all!! Glad Detroit, Chicago and Cincinnatti are short drives away.  I am wondering if anybody else feels the same way.  

I would love to come down to see the race and visit Indianapolis. Afterall, It's only a short drive from Chicago.

about 1.5 hours north if Indy next year in June. Have never been to Indy 500 just the one in Phoenix. Love car races hope to find a drag racing and demolition track in Indiana as well.
