What do you envision the duties of a personal assistant to be? What is the scope of the job? I think most prospective candidates would want to know this. How many hours per day and days per week would you require assistance? I ask the following from a male point of view: In addition to the hourly "salary", would there be any other perks...such as a weekly "bonus" incentive? Would there be any fiduciary responsibilities such as paying your bills? Have you hired PAs in the past? If so, what happened to them? Any jealous boyfriends or wackos to contend with?

If you have not done so already, I would suggest you post your "Position Available" message on the Los Angeles board and on the Provider Board as well (maybe some local providers have had reliable assistants that they would recommend).

I am going to assume there is no 401k plan or health coverage plan associated with the job, and (again, from the male perspective) limited opportunity for advancement. I checked out your ad on Cityvibe and can honestly say the weekly 'bonus' incentive would be a nice perquisite for any male interested in the job.
