Provider in LA not too touchy on screening process?

I come from the UK, where there is nothing like US screening processes.

I appreciate security concerns, but my name is VERY special and I'd rather not expose my privacy.

Besides, to be honest I don't ask for the provider's name and exact details, I don't see why I should give mine either.

I'm happy to meet and even pay for the extra 1/2 hour to meet outside of residence and have a little introduction. But giving my name, ID number and work details? No way.

I know, I'm a bad and selfish person :-)

If anyone knows providers that could be open to it don't hesitate to post links ;-)

If you are sooooo special and important why would YOU want to see a provider who dosent screen? Lol
Do you understand that if she skips screening for you she will with others too?
Do you understand that that leads to a much higher probability of her being busted?
Do you understand that after she is busted YOU may be the next "john" to walk through the door and guess what?
Your special and important ass will be arrested as well
Think it wont happen? THINK AGAIN!

Find a reputable provider and give her your info. We(providers) want to be a descreet as you do. We have profiles and reviews for you to make sure we are legit...we need something from you
A long history of great reviews not only means the provider is good in the sack, it means she is a trustworthy provider.

I'm not saying I'm special or important.
I'm saying that I'm not comfortable providing my real name and work info, and if you can't see any good reasons for this please, by all means, tell me your real name and ID details in exchange, not just reviews from anonymous people. After seeing you, I will not know you. You will have all my details. I am not comfortable with that, sorry. If really this is a deal breaker in the US, then fine, I'll enjoy my time in EVERY OTHER country where this isn't required. That's pretty much the rest of the world, just so you know.

The reality is simple, there IS a risk for clients to provide all their information. Blackmailing isn't something new, and it happened to a friend of mine here in the US (despite the girl had a few great reviews, it was in fact an organized scam). Having someone's name and work information can be VERY useful if you want leverage on someone.

Really, if cops want to handcuff you, it wouldn't get much easier than that, if one group of people can create fake IDs and invent stories, it's them. If they want to bust you, they will, no matter the screening process.

You may feel that I'm being stupid, but I'm just being as cautious as you want to be.

If laws are so tough here that it's impossible to meet an adult without being busted, then fine, but I just don't get how they manage to do it in other countries. Or are Americans so special, once again?

for all we know, you could be just an average American, or an axe murderer, or some jerk who is blacklisted so bad.  If someone gives me no information whatsoever, I will not see him.

Oh! Because knowing my real name is going to prove you I'm not an axe murderer?
that's new...

But the point is we don't want to see anybody who won't give us the information we ask, as you've seen from other responses here.  And you trying to be cute about it doesn't help either.

While I agree that ladies screen. I object that YOU think you are so SPECIAL YOU do not need to provide reciprocal information! If you don't think men screen wake up! What are YOU hiding!

If you ask for our name but do not give yours...
How do we know you have not been busted and LE is watching you.
Who do we contact if you give us a life threating STD
Who do we contact if you get a bur up yours and try a little black mail.

If your reputation gets tarnished You just start over with a new name. Most gents have more to loose than you.

All I am saying is that it is not a one way street. After the one provider (who had a good reputation) I gave that info to, researched my home address and then called my house to "verify" our time. I will never give that info to a lady again! if she is hiding her own info, what else is she hiding.

The best form of screening is references.

Once again the assumption is made that ALL escorts are in this business for life, have no families, own no property, have no other jobs or education or aspirations.

Most of the ladies I have met via TER are:

1) Educated
2) Have or plan on having civvie career.
3) Have family and community ties.

So if WE get outed or blackmailed in addition to facing JAIL we face same possibility of having our present and future lives destroyed.

Believe me, if my reputation outside of world of providing "gets tarnished", reestablishing myself as Lana in lieu of Lina would be THE LEAST of my concerns.

So we screen.  We want to be safe.  We do not want every Joe showing up where we live or work (day jobs).

No matter what anyone says, when a man fucks 100 women he is a stud.  When a women fucks 100 men she is a Ho.

Spitzer gets to be in public arena less than 2 years after the scandal.

Do you suppose that if he was a FEMALE politician busted for providing it would happen?

As for "very special names", I assume that OP is not famously known french movie sex icon.

Most likely he is just someone who is easily googlable.  Some of the people I see have thousands of Google hits to their name and have no problems about providing the info.

Those who have play on CL or BP, not with reputable escorts.

OK, rant is over now

Lina

I want to answer to you Lina, because I do appreciate a rant that isn't calling the other stupid.

I completely agree with your concerns, but that's my point.

I do NOT need to know your name, and I completely understand why you wouldn't me knowing it. It opens the door to lots of risks for your reputation.

Not only is my name very special (there's only one person with it when you Google it), but having my work details can mean losing my job.
Obviously if I can afford an escort like that, I'm either saving up a lot or quite wealthy, and I don't necessarily like the idea of someone being able to contact my company (now or in 2 years time).

I don't want to bend the rules anyway, if really that's the way it's done here I give up, but I find the whole judgment of my point of view like if I was being just a stupid ass misplaced.
disagree with me if you wish, but not recognizing that there is a point in being careful with your identity when engaging in an illegal activity, that's another thing.

Anyway, best regards to all of you, I wish you all to not get in trouble.

But to one of the posters.

As for names, there is a way around releasing this info here in US.  It is called references.

I had been recently contacted by a Gentleman from UK who has datecheck profile and glowing referrals from several providers.

That pretty much took care of the screening right there and then.

Happy hobbying!

Lina

I completely agree.
I'd love to get references, the only issue is I can't get them here in the first instance.
Anyway, I'm going back to the UK in 3 weeks, I'm sure I'll survive without escort services in the meantime.

You may think you have a VERY special name but I am a VERY special person and I value my safety.  Also I don't want to spend Thanksgiving in handcuffs. I guess I will not be exposing my privacy parts to you. You are not bad or selfish, just really stupid.

Give you some other advice.
There are AMPS, CL, and BP where you can find providers that will not require screening.
Of course, you will be taking a risk of being led away in handcuffs, and your VERY special name may be printed in the morning newspaper.
You will also be at risk for upsell, poor performances, or even a ripoff.

Now, you have choices.

If you do not want to provide information and feel like you need to be very discrete, I recommend using one of the screening services like preferred411 or rs2k

I will usually take the cost of signing up for rs2k off my fee.

Hope this helps.

Juls

Agreed, never share your real name or place of employment.

Yes there are ladies that you can see without screening.  Just make sure she is reviewed one of multiple sites.  Thats what I have done for the past 4 years and never had a problem (knock on wood).

Do occassionally come across a provider that insists on employer details.  At that point just move on as you are unlikely to come to terms on this.

I have done some business in London and a lot of business in Toronto and NEVER once gave my real name. To me it seems to be a U S issue and not standard practice.

My basic belief is that if someone knowing you see providers would cause yuo a problem you increase your costs greatly by telling them your name . If you give them work info them you are simply an IDIOT
