It seems curious that you're asking people to call YOU instead of the police. Has her family filed a Missing Persons report?

This whole thing sounds fishy to me.

Her parents changing their number was something that was done, prior to "hope" being relized missing, and is completely non-related to this situation..
I am not going to go into her personal details on this board, however, if you would like to help the situation, you are more than welcome to call me to discuss it...THIS IS NOT A JOKE, her family is worried sick, however, my going this route for assistence, is not something that I would choose to discuss with her parents, and I would hope that you could understand why....

Regardless of one's profession and potential embarassment and judgement, the gravity of this situation (if real) demands that Jonathan Golden do the right thing and contact local and federal authorities...MISSING PERSON...8 Y.O DAUGHTER...PARENTS WORRIED SICK...This would be a situation where more information should be released since it is about life and death and not about whether this woman chose to be a service provider....at least the police can do cell phone searches, credit card usage reports etc...

about a police report being filed. Is she officially a Missing Person? If her parents are so worried, why haven't they gone to the authorities for help?

Maybe she's "disappeared" for a good reason.

That was exactly what I advised her parents to do, and they are...
So yes, that part IS being handled by her parents.
This is something that I can do, something that her parents wouldnt know to do, and something that the police may, or may not do.
It is as simple as that.
She my friend, and im worried...

If you DID know "Hope" aka Nancy, you would certainly be more understanding, and most likely, much more helpful.
And no, my serious concern is NOT that she is hiding from anyone.
She is a very caring mother, she adores her daughter, and I don't believe that she would allow her daughters 8th birthday to go by without any contact from her, that's IF she were OK....
I am very worried, with very good reason.
I guess I shouldn't be that surprised how cynical most of the readers of these boards seem to be...considering the venue...But I am!

She can be a Jane Doe, and Sweeeties should know something even if it is her last know telephone numbers.  LE can pull records from all cell phone carriers.

Its upsetting to see how many people are giving this poor man a hard time. He is obviously trying to locate a dear friend. As far as police, missing persons, and the feds, I have some shocking news for some of you...there are hundreds of people missing and vansihing every year and its mostly goes unnoticed. The really big cases that are sensationalized by the media are just a small percentage of actual cases. Especially if this girl is an escort. Alot of the mentality out there just considers her "another missing hooker". Sad. But, true. So, I think all of you skeptics should cut this man a break and be happy that the girl has someone that truly cares about what happens to her.
