I've noticed that many of the providers in the SoCal area are still only posting to the general services board, too. Maybe you should send them a gentle reminder.
If it is reasonably straightforward, if would be useful to move recent active threads concerning So-cal to that board, so that it would encourage people to make the move. Otherwise, you get a situation where the natural inertia of a discussion being on this board tends to keep all of the action remaining on this board. Then, new threads which invariably spin off would also naturally be initiated on the new board.
Staff,I think Dman has made a great suggestion. And if it's possible to make the transfer as he indicated...why not do the same thing with the services advertising board?
