I think there are places that specialize in this, I can't name any offhand but depending on what part of the country you are in you can do a google search and find some I'm sure. Also, I'm quite certain many of the providers on this board would be happy to do something along those lines. The only(possible) issue with that might be financial on your part. The ladies' time is what is of value, so 8 hours at a wedding/reception is probably about the same price as an 8 hour appointment, because her time is money, just like the rest of us. I don't know if you'd get a discount because she is not actually "providing" in the more traditional sense. I guess you will see if any ladies answer you on this thread. Hopefully you are at the point in life where the financial part is not an issue
In a few months my best friend is getting married, I am an usher in his bridal party. My marriage is one of those in which we stay for the kids, besides, my wife hates this guy and doesn't even want me talking to him anymore. (Long story). I do not want to go alone. So....I need to find a date for the wedding. I do not wish to start dating a civie, nor have I ever visited a provider. I was curious if there are Escort Agencies that offer just Platonic Dates. I am hoping for a woman that will enjoy herself, dance, etc, and I will tell everyone she is just my friend. Average looks are fine, if she can have fun, thats what counts. Should I go through an agency, or an Independent person?? Do any women/agencies (it must be in New York) cater to occasions like what I need? All I am looking for is a lady for dancing, socializing, and just fun. I will be fine with just a handshake at nights end. This is like my Prom Night. In general each lady I know who would agree to such is an independent. Most would be both more comfortable and better able to provide the vision you wish to project to other wedding guests if she were to have met you prior to that date. (this can also be a platonic meeting)
If you were to decide to book a lady from out of your area you would most likely need to cover all her travel and hotel expenses along with the fee you settle on.

I have no idea if this would work, but you could try a modeling agency. Tell them your story and why you are not calling an escort agency. Once they realize you are legit, they may have some models who would be interested.
