Some photogs tour, just like some Providers. Find some photos and layouts you really like from other Provider ads. Look for the photog's watermark. If no watermark, contact the Provider and ask who did her pics (and ask for her opinion of the photog).  Contact the photog and ask if they plan to tour to your area or someplace close by ... and their fees, if not posted.
.
But that does not address the cost question.  You don't want to spend any amount of money on lousy pics. You would rather not spend BIG money on great pics. Once you've IDed possible photogs based on the quality of their work, shop around among them.
.
And watch out for the guys who offer to snap a few cell phone pics "for free." :-)

Hi Guys!

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place but... I would really love some fresh, new, professional photos. If you  think you would like to help me better my business and do a little shoot with me without me having to break my piggy bank please let me know!

Since good photos are your number marketing tool (next to good reviews) to help create your brand and better support your business, I would recommend choosing good photographers to work with based on their work as a previous poster has mentioned and not on price alone.

The cost really is negligible based on the type of revenue your business can generate. I don't know what the going rate for skilled photographers in your area go for but in the SF Bay area, you can likely secure a photo session from a good photographer anywhere from $300 - $500 on avg.  I suspect it's within the same range in your area.

Too bad you're not in my area because I was offering a free testing shoot in my area to test out some gear.

I will take your advice! I really appreciate you guys being kind in your responses too!  Thanks a million guys.
