An old resort for rich retired English pre 1955. I don't think any European would live there other than in an hotel. An over rated well none hotel -- I forgot, but I like the one of the restaurants. I first saw blue people there from near the Atlas the mountains to the South.

I liked it, I got to practice my french before going on to France.  It was a French Colony and English is less popular than in most international resorts.

I discovered Paris wasn't the only place with Arab toilets.  It was without toilet paper. I carry my own.

The main reason to go is Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young or Ishtar

The place that is Morocco is Fez     Casablanca has some nice hotel lobbies, that's it & a large Souk

I bought a bottle of Royal Salute for $75 in the Ferry Terminal Bldg in Tangiers.  FYI  It's aged Chevas  take the ferry back and see the Rock of Gibraltar in Europe.
