just curious...from everyone heres point of view

I personally have never stayed in the borgata but I can imagine how their rooms look as the entire place is built very nice.  I dont know if you gamble at all when you go but I like to play and I get rated at the casinos and get comp rooms and suites often.  I have stayed in trump plaza and trump taj mahal and they are very nice and clean.   I do believe they were given 5 star ratings at some point in the past 3 years.  I dont keep up with that sort of thing but they play it when you are hold from the phone.  If you are going to play at the casino at some part during your trip then look into getting a player card.  Theres nothing like a nice clean room for free.

Personally, I like the Atlantic Palace.  Referred a few favs there several years ago for the last East Coast Video convention held in AC.  They all raved about it.

What quality are you looking for in a room.  Are you looking to save money or you want something nice.  Personally whenever I go to Atlantic City, I stay just outside of Atlantic City in the Absecon area.  Depending on when Im there I can sometimes find rooms as cheap as $28 per night.  Now granted we are talking like Travelodge, Super 8, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, those types of places, but if you are just in it for a room and it dont have to be pretty, then they are good places.

Sometimes I am really suprised by the room, sometimes you get what you pay for.  (By the way, most have mini fridges, microwaves and free high speed internet)  I normally book via triprewards.

Ive never had a problem staying in Absecon personally.  Of course Im not picky when it comes to a room.  If it has a bed, high speed internet and is not in crackville, Im ususally good.
