Wrong on the PM part. He can receive PMs. We have been able to send PMs to aliases, and from an alias for close to a year now. There isn't the hyperlink by the name, so it is not as easy as a click, such as when PMing a username. You have to type in the alias (or copy/paste it in the 'to' field).

You are right in that most ladies won't PM an alias to answer an ISO. Just because it is allowed now, doesn't mean it's a good idea. Obviously it would help to see reviews/whitelists, etc.

that you can PM to and from aliases now. It was a given for so many years that you couldn't PM an alias, that folks who have been members for a while, but who are not online all the time are still unaware. Of course in TER's ultimate wisdom, they usually make policy changes without notice, so lots of times these policy changes are found out only by people passing information on the boards.
