I'm traveling in from LA and dont know much about the place, especially ladies.  Any help will be appreciated.

CS is a small town.  Super conservative.  Police actively chase off any advertising escorts.  Try backpage but be prepared for slim pickins.  

You could also contact a Houston provider and ask her how much extra for her to make the 1- 1.5 hr drive to CS.
