Hello all.  I'm visiting Houston for the first time & will have a few days alone before friends arrive and we go on to another state.  I need advice on wear to stay (looking at Alden, Lancaster & Icon so far), what to do by myself for much of two days, and who to spend an hour here or there of quality time with.  Thanks Y'all.

Galleria is best place to stay , you can get good hotels from hotwire , its centrally located and nice classy area.
