I am visiting Houston and was wondering what area is a good place to stay galleria, the airport, downtown or medical center.

The galleria is always the most centrally located.

The most choices to stay will be found in the Galleria area.  And nearby is plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Galleria.  Or maybe even the energy corridor.
