To those new to me, allow me to formally introduce myself: my name is Charlotte. I am the nymph-like Lolita to your well-meaning Humbert, the seemingly guileless little Red to your Wolfish appetite. Based in Seattle, I am a young American woman of Asian descent who originated as an innocent and sheltered Catholic girl: a textbook-case "goody two shoes" who unquestioningly followed my superiors, devoutly guarded my virginity for marriage, and naively believed that there could be only one love in my lifetime. I still fondly bear bittersweet memories of my First Communion and my absolute trepidation as I sat and shivered in the suffocating darkness of the confessional.
