Morgan, we will do a B Day celebration when you cum north again!  Hope all is well.

Even if you are well known in the comunity and well respected here on TER...your references have to be providers that you have done you know what with.

Imagine my surprise when I listed a provider that has my personal cell phone number, that I have talked with quite a few times, and spent three hours in the same room with at the last M&G...no, that provider is not a valid reference.

No problem, I have many other providers that will gladly say what a fine gentleman I am, and would love to see me again.

Now I am wondering what is the big deal?  What is the difference between a provider that I have done you know what with and a provider that I have not?  Is their opinion any less valid?

Then I was wondering what specific questions they were troubling my past providers with...I am OK with listing my wonderful past providers as a reference, but I am now wondering what questions they are asking them...will I be sorry later that the gatekeepers bothered them with over the top questions?  I don't want my past providers to be bothered with a bunch of BS questions that anyone else in the community (that I have not done you know what with) could also answer the same questions...like this: Do you know person X? Is he OK? etc.

So I asked one of the gatekeepers, what questions are you asking my wonderful providers?  I don't want to waste their time.  The response is that those questions are confidential.  I can see keeping the answers and the provider's name private, but the questions?

Something is not adding up.  Don't I deserve to know what questions are being asked about me? Or maybe the gatekeepers need to feel really really important.
