I'm continually surprised at how many men will contact someone on CL and go to a home somewhere in a neighborhood they aren't familiar with, and knock on the door, based on a blurry photo of some fat ass and a quick phone call. That's asking for trouble.
I do remember about 6 years ago a couple of ladies working out of a house in Orlando and a few of the neighbors noticed what was going on. They started getting nosey and took pictures of all the gentlemens cars that were visiting. One person found the girls ads on eros and the neighborhood was up in arms..They called a local news channel and found themselves on TV. Both ladies had been arrested before so there was no problem finding out who they were.
One not so nice, very angry neighbor sent letters to every address connected with a number plate and included a picture, clipping from the local paper. She sent it to the Misses of the house.
I am sure if there is a bust at a particular hotel or house LE could use it for a bait-n-switch location. After all if someone else is already booked and shows up how would they know.
This is the first time I have heard of something like this and read that post earlier on another board..I understand Chicago is not a friendly place to be for a provider or hobbiest..They have busts pften and have a task force just for that purpose.
It is Super Bowl week and plenty of strangers coming this way..LE is also aware of the shear numbers of willing participants in Central Florida..Everyone use this to give a heads up. LE has been quiet here lately but who know's for how long.
LE has their hands full being understaffed and facing budgetary constraints. Unless you are a streetwalker, or engaging the services of one, your chances of getting busted are pretty slim. Typically they respond to calls for service which keeps the officers/deputies hopping from one incident to another. The Vice guys work the streets, and the parks where a lot of gay sex is happening. They will cruise CL and BP for opportunities, but the typical mid-to-high end provider staying in a hotel and maintaining a low profile is not a threat to the public and behind closed doors offers no incentive for the cops to bust her. Sure, it happens, but you have a better chance of being struck by lightning. There is always risk, so stay ahead of the curve by doing your research and trusting your instincts. Enjoy the opportunities this hobby affords.
wilco, LE just busted a CL provider in my town just yesterday. Seems like they could find something more useful to the community to do, maybe like arresting armed robbers, murderers, gang members and the like. I guess some providers are just an easy way for LE to get a feather in their cap or maybe a promotion. Who knows.
...it's hard to determine what happened. The CL provider might have been a ripoff and a client may have tipped off the cops anonymously, or multiple complaints might've been received, drugs might have been openly used, bought/sold....couldn't say.
If you look at the HCSO website, you can see they are arresting a lot more girls right now and they are familiar faces from CL and BP and they were busted at their incall locations! Not streetwalkers!
