I'm a diehard Giants fan!!
A couple of weeks ago a client had requested an appointment around 8PM for last night-but I had told him 9PM would be safer as I had to watch the game-at first he thought I was kidding-ummmm no, tune into my Twitter and you will see each week-I'm on there with my fellow Giant fans!!!
OK-so the appointment is set for 9PM and while watching the game I get a message from him?? (at first I knew his handle but didn't know he had twitter but was totally eyes on the game as Giants had gone from 23-0 to 23-10 very quickly) telling me he is Cowboys fan-yeah right-I think he is joking until after a couple messages back and forth he wants to place a bet on the game-(at this point it was a very close game but the Giants were winning)
To humor him, I say what bet are we placing?
Him-I do the hour appointment for free if Cowboys win
ME-I get paid double if Giants win
WTF???????????
We have a few messages back and forth and he asks to double the bet!!!!!!!!
WTF-really (mind you-a friend of mine is at the casino and I'm now spinning thoughts in my head like a real degenerate gambler-if I win his $$-I will take the extra $$ and go see my friend at casino after my appt)
OK-the bet is placed-double or nothing-
Last 10 seconds of the game-Dallas gets a TD-and my body goes NUMB-NO F'N WAY-first thought-is thank God I like this guy enough to do 2 hours free-LMFAO
Well the touchdown is reversed-and now instead of being happy for myself I start feeling bad for my date!!!!
I am frozen in place until the game is finalllllllllly over-Giants win-My guy is a man of his word but I tell him I will only collect our original bet but at some point I will collect the half but keeping him waiting to see how he has to work off that other $500 plus just bragging rights are priceless to me!!!!

The Steelers game this weekend has been a source of bets in my home now for over a month. I have somebody coming to play ref in my house on Sunday because its going to be UGLY here- (hopefully in good fun!!)

While on Twitter I was trying to think of a good bet to make regarding this Steelers game for new/established clients. Not sure I'd be willing to bet 2 hours free with someone I do not know! But something to haveva little extra fun. One of my clients said I'd have to wear a Steelers Jersey and make him breakfast-YEAHHHHHHH right- but it was a cute idea!!!

As a diehard Eagles fan- & yes I die hard with them year after year after year after... You get the point. Would I bet on the Eagles or Phillies? Maybe but probably because I despise the Giants, Jets, Yankees & Mets so much. Eagles play Giants again last week of season- bet???

Twas very interesting paying off - but I liked the being paid off part best..... Although these were not sports related - we bet a couple times on how close to on-time she could be.  I won one, and lost one.  I can't complain about paying off, as the extra time spent at the 'Y' as a payoff was nearly as enjoyable for me as it was for her!

and if I were near Tampa, I'd take you up on the Steelers bet!  Eli better make sure to tighten his flak jacket and chin strap!
