After witnessing two nights of glorious fireworks displays we were all sound asleep in our rooms Sunday night when the 2 AM Disney Monorail crash occurred … so sad that the 21 year old young man operating one of the trains was killed. It did put a damper on our visit so we all left for home shortly after breakfast and my grandkids spent the rest of Sunday frolicking on Siesta Beach the tragic incident forgotte ... or so I thought.
Today (Monday) after dinner just before the family was heading back to the beach for some sunset time my eight year old grand daughter gave me a big hug and said “Grandpa I hope that terrible train crash didn’t spoil our birthday celebrations for you”. I assured her that it did not and that I had a LOT more celebrating to do … little does she know !!!
They all leave in a few days and I shall miss them dearly but not too much since I am eagerly anticipating sharing some serious fun time for the next few weeks or so with some very lovely ladies !!! !!! !!!
You're right Sindie especially if you and I initiate some shared fun of our own ... first thing first though I'm antipating enjoying some quality belated birthday fun with a very special lady this Friday !!!
...because I have not heard anything about it up here in Knoxville...do you think that they are keeping it under wraps for tourism reasons? I take in a fair amount of current event news, but haven't heard about that at all.
