Ladies Is it really offensive for a visiting gentleman to do a "I am in town who is interested" type post.  While I fully understand If it is a newbie or 1 without reviews posted or an alias it would not be a wise or risk worthy undertaking.  Now, if he has reviews, maybe even white lists, he fits your demographic and by his reviews you fit his, is there a problem there?  Being on the dialing end of the phone I know you can run through some numbers.  If I express what type or demographic I am looking for and based upon my reviews you are a fit, Does it offend you to have to contact me via email or Private mail? If it does ,Why? Now since I am the plague around here to some, please forget who is asking and help the poor souls that keep reaping the wrath of the local board cops.

That I fit what the gentleman is looking for, then I post or send a pm. Very basic.

I travel frequently.  If I am in town with nothing to do, and someone is looking, it give me the option of reaching out via PM.

of course, the OP needs to give us an idea what type of lady he fancies, and what kind of date he's envisioning (keep it clean!  incall/outcall, dinner date, etc) so that we may appropriately respond or pass.  sure, a gentleman can search out his "type" but availability and interest are not so readily searchable.

I'm a little late but you have gotten nothing but positive feed back from all the ladies and i'm going to join in. I have heard from so many gentlemen about how many e-mails they send out to get a date. Many ladies are busy with life or already booked so makes sense to make the gentleman's search much easier.

This site has a very good search feature that's incredibly easy to use. There are plenty of reviews to read, reviewers to PM, and opportunities to do one's homework.
Oh...but wait. Some of those features (ability to read reviews and get PMs) are only available to people who pay the ridiculously low fee for membership. We can all debate this until the cows come home, but it is really up to TER to decide what stays and what goes.
The problem here is inconsistency. We do have an ISO Board and ISO posts should be posted/moved there. That's what that board is for. The solution is that either all of the ISO posts be moved there or none of them.
In the alternative, the ISO Board can be eliminated all together. If it is only going to be used selectively its value is mediocre at best, just as it is now.

Admin was seeking to make the boards a more welcoming place. They even came up with hosts and hostesses to suggest their duties. That didn't work and we are back to the same old same old. *shrug*

I think if TER would add a board to each region that keeps posts up for only 24 hours that could help everyone.  It would be a good place for guys to put ISO ads ( oir whatever one wants to call them) as they are usually short term openings and it would be a good place for ladies to post short term ads if they had a sudden availabilty.  And it would be a good place for them to match up.  

The suggestion of something like that is indicative of our society as a whole. We've gotten to the point where we want what we want...we want it NOW...and we don't feel we should have to put any effort into it. Instant gratification.
We've changed the definition of "wants" and convinced ourselves that they are "needs". Things have become so easily available that we now expect every whim to be satisfied...and quickly.
That mindset has made people lazy, fat, irresponsible, and ridiculously self-centered.

Sex is not a "need". It's a "want". That's a debate for another thread, but I'll win that debate every...single...time. Guaranteed.

The idea now of a 24 hour board has made me realize that I, and those who also dislike lazy ISO posts, are probably dinosaurs in our thinking.
It has nothing to do with age...but with what you could call "older" thinking. We believe in things like being responsible, taking care of your own business and doing your own work, and respecting people.
We don't consider the ladies who participate here as whores, on-demand cum dumpsters...or just something warm to masturbate into. If you want that then just go to a whorehouse or troll the stoll.

Perhaps I miss the days when this board was vibrant and filled with like minded people. We had fun daily banter, offered advice, supported each other, and yes...bashed the unruly interlopers.
