As a hobbyist; I was actually surprised to find myself whitelisted. I am a cool guy and would never ask to be whitelisted. If a provider asked me to write a review (which I do occasionally) I feel less likely to after being asked than before.
I think it would work the same way. The only exception to that would be for a new provider and we had a good time. As you can see; I do not write many reviews.
Does providing a review automatically mean a guy should be whitelisted? I said no, but someone has told me that they feel they should be whitelisted because they took the time to provide a review.
I have a few reviews but my personal policy is to whitelist if I've seen them more than one time. I gladly provide a references if a provider contacts me, but since some ladies use whitelist without follow up I don't think I feel comfortable doing it.
Giving a reference is that much more of a thank you to the gentleman as well. Your taking the time to correspond with other ladies on his behalf. Also this gives you the opportunity to keep track of how many references you are giving for a gentleman who should move on and use his new lady friends to fill that spot. Also he knows right away you are going the extra mile to help him enjoy the hobby which otherwise he wouldn't.
Some ladies take a whitelist on face value while others will contact you anyway to get the scoop on a gentleman regardless of your whitelist.
I usually want to see someone twice before giving a whitelist myself. You should never feel pressured which would be a good reason not to whitelist this man. Attitude constitutes a problem in the future.
Well it would make me feel better knowing they had been seen more then once before whitelisted but it's not a repeat list. So I would say if the date went as it should and was someone you would spend time with again then that deserves a whitelist.
The problem with this particular situation is that I won't white list him because I didn't like his correspondence after our first date. He would only book me again if I agreed to do things that I just don't do. I didn't feel like he was blacklist worthy but definitely didn't want to give a whitelist. He may be a better fit for another lady but to threaten to have a review removed (that wasn't faked) is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.

I have heard similar things, or guys threatening to post bad review if you don't whitelist them -no drama for me please- In the beginning I couldn't whitelist at all! so when I finally could I just wouldn't do it: too much drama and I all ready told so many people no the first few years when I couldn't (the way my account was set up) so it wasn't fair to start then lol I just decided to stay out of it. I will be a reference or give ok on p411 or date check But in my eyes TER is not a verification service It is a review board and discussion board Any one can sign up and write what ever they want regardless of what actually happens and providers get no say 99.9%of the time. I prefer to have my privacy and be discreet. The majority of my guests feel the same way: they don't want our business all over the place for every one to see. They use TER for adds and double checking the lady is real, and discussion boards Nothing personal I just don't whitelist and don't accept it as verification.
I don't ask the lady to add my name to the white list. If they do it of their own, that is fine. I have also seen some web sites of ladies where they specifically ask for "at least 3 white listed ladies" in a guy's list of reviews. Reference is always a preferred choice.
