Lately seems like grammas, redheads and 'cash and dash' idiots are the only choices. ...and dont tell me 'cause it's "hot in Tampa"...did some checking and there has been no more pressure than their was the last two years. Prices for the "less than quality" provider are nearing ridiculous.
I will be coming to Tampa/Orlando once a month and hope to make friends.I will be there may the 23rd-morning of the 27th and have 25 pages of reviews on TER.Hope that we get a chance to meet...Now as for hot girls that missy k looks hot!!!!

Jordan - I've been reading your reviews and fantasizing about you for months just hoping you would be coming to Florida. Will you be in Tampa or Orlando?

Your wording for gramma is kind of harsh..Should it not be aged to perfection?Does a lady have to be catagorized as a gramma because she is older and loves the biz?Wow it scares me to get older and hear that is how people would catagorize me.Is there a ceratin limit or cutoff date in this buisness?

African farmer sells his farm to go mining for diamomds. Meanwhile the man who bought the farm stumbled on the largest diamond mine in the world, right on the farm. I'm planning a trip to Tampa & have identified at least 8 diamonds there & at least that many more diamonds in the rough. I've had a difficult time narrowing it down to my top 3 to contact. Perhaps ya need to open your wallet a little wider cuz there are gems available.
I'm not sure I understand what message you're trying to tell with your "parable". If the point is not to go away looking for your dream because it might be right under your feet, then why are you planning a trip to Tampa? Why not just go looking for diamonds right where you live. Also, how can you say you've identified "at least diamonds there". Is that just based on what you've read or are these diamonds you've actually dug up yourself? If you've actually tried these girls yourself, then why haven't you done your own reviews on such wonderful "diamonds"?
The fact of the matter is that this is not like hunting for diamonds in Africa. Every place is different and some places are better or worse than others. Tampa certainly has an active P4P scene, but speaking as one who has actually "hobbied" here and in other places, I've seen much better values (at whatever price level one operates at) and a smaller proportion of rip-offs in other cities. If I weren't already living here, this DEFINITELY wouldn't be the first place I'd choose to travel to for this activity.
Purvis may have insulted some providers (and the guys who admire them) with his choice of words. But that does not make his viewpoint totally invalid. Not everyone likes mature providers (or "grammas" as he less graciously calls them). Nor does everyone like redheads. I do, but don't find them to be that prevalent here anyway. There ARE a lot of "cash and dash", "bait and switch", "upsell" providers here in Tampa (even relative to the overall volume of business here). If you don't believe me, just call probably 80% of the ads in the local Nightmoves or V2 magazines. Of the other 20%, you're absolutely right, you DO have "to open your wallet a little wider". The average $400 provider in Tampa would normally charge at least $100 less in nearby S. FL. Purvis is also right "Prices for the "less than quality" provider are nearing ridiculous." halfway decent $200 providers are just about impossible to find here and many of the "less than quality" providers ask for much more than that.
OTOH, for him to say those are the only choices is not completely fair. Sites like TER, CAN help you avoid the known scammers and outright rip-offs, PROVIDED the girl you're interested in has been reviewed and that the review wasn't written by some smitten hobbyist with no variety of experience to base his opinion on. How can there possible be so many perfect 10's and so many ONCE in a lifetime experiences? There are SOME really good providers here in Tampa and they charge accordingly by LOCAL standards.
PER CAPITA, Tampa probably has as many quality providers as other metros. Grass always seems greener elsewhere, however. I'm traveling there ON BIZ for 1st time since a hobbyist. Applied same "research" as I do locally, which has worked well. My "diamonds" are well liked by many reviewers, though YMMV of course. My intention was to compliment the ladies there, not attack or insult Purvis. It's interesting that some top providers are coming to the defense of their town! There's quality there.
And MY point was clear too. It all depends whether you're a glass half full or half empty guy. Admittedly there are drier places nearby (Orlando for example), but there are definitely places where the grass really IS much greener than Tampa (all of SE FL for example). There are certainly some decent providers in Tampa, but there's also a ton of slag. Sites like TER help cut through the crap and zero in on the better local providers, but won't change the inescapable fact that ladies of same caliber charge much less in other places. Acres of Diamond is simply pure hyperbole.
Also, I don't see what's so interesting about some of the providers coming to the defense of their town. What are they going to say? Oh yeah sure, we're all a bunch of overpriced ho's. I don't think so. Of course they're going to try and defend their reputation (or at lease disassociate themselves from the others)
With that attitude you will be doing a lot of five-finger disco. There are a lot of quality woman in Tampa. Just read the reviews,and use you manners if you have them,and treat the ladies right. You will have a good time then. Just my .02 worth.
Amen, Chase Star. Thanks for saying it appropriately. the message is still the same...if we hobbyist continue to pay for mediocrity and thievery, in some cases,we will be receive just that! This isn't my first time around the block and do treat the ladies very well...when I am treated the same. No upsell crap, cash and dash or other such scams. It is very unnecessary...as many of the intelligent beuties have shown. Treat US right and you will be more than rewarded.
