Sure it makes us mad to see false advertisement. In the past it use to make me mad too.I think it's just something you get use to.Face it,If you look good you will always have this problem.
On the other side of the coin......I seem to have companys with the right info doing free advertisement . HOrray
Sorry to hear your going through that.I don't bother looking any more.I 've always found my pictures in too many places.
Things like this happen all the time and to be honest, it only matters when someone is putting themselves out there as being you....Most educated gentlemen do their homework in more then one place and realize if the woman who shows up is not the woman in the pictures..
This is just one reason we always need to be alert.....

I am sorry Anna...I am friends with several of you (not you yet), and have clicked on every link, and viewed every pic, and unless it directs folks elsewhere...I believe you would hire a web marketing person to get you on every free site on the planet, as long as it is factual.....BTW...how did you find this? If you googled it, then they are doing things correctly....
I will be turning this into my lawyer and emailing them. And I'm not 5'0" either I'm 5'5" too Jada. I don't believe in free advertising. So they are gaining something.... so will be lawyer if they don't remove those photos!!
There are ways to code your website to prevent people from right-clicking them and 'hotlinking' them. Granted, nothing is 100%, but it goes a long way.
Also, it's a good idea to put your pics on your own website instead of free places like imagecoast, ect. This way all the sources go back to your site, and people can't grab them from the free ones.
Simple: ad revenue. They've got various banner ads on the site. The more content they pump into the site (provider info) the more they show up on search engines, thus more people to potentially click their ads.
There are sites like this that scrape all sorts of content, blogs, etc. hoping to get some quick money. Everyone hates them, but there isn't an easy way to prevent them as a whole.
