So fuck it.

Personally, I believe TER dropped the ball several times and the changes they made have all gone downhill.  The first change was eliminating moderators.  Despite some folks whining about how unfair some of the mods were, at least the boards had some personality and participation was a lot of fun.  Yes, there was a certain amount of drama but that would be expected.  At least the board was entertaining for the most part.  

Then instead of moderators, they decided to experiment with rotating board hosts, which turned out to be a total flop and didn't last very long.  The hosts truly tried to make things interesting but it didn't go over very well with the rank and file membership.  

As much as some folks whined about Theme Days, eliminating them reduced board participation even further.  The Photo thing is a waste, in my opinion, but some folks seem to like it.  My thoughts would be to go back the 'old days' but I doubt that will happen.  

The Florida Board, which used to be a fun page to visit, has pretty deteriorated to the point that it has become an ISO board for visiting hobbyists with some of us old-timer telling them to use the Search feature.  Yawn!!!!  Unless one would visit the board just for that, it seems there's not much reason to participate in board discussions.  

Just my 2 cents.

Theme days were my favorite here.  The photos only just isn't the same to me.  It appears to be a popular opinion.
