The problem is semantics.  In the non-porn world a lady is an actress until she has attained a certain level of stardom and then somehow magically people start referring to her as a star. Sometimes through popularity or sometimes through recognition from critics or the press or the "Academy."  There is really only one porn "academy" so they can only recognize so many ladies per year. The press is limited and so are the porn critics so it's hard to attain stardom through traditional means.  Further we really don't ever refer to them as actresses. Maybe because non-porn folks are snobbish towards their tawdry cohorts, maybe because the porn entertainers themselves want to keep the differentiation so that they can cross over some day to something else they aspire too.  So what do we call them if they've done 2 movies?  Well judging by some of the things they do maybe star is a good title. I mean if you ever had to fuck Ron Jeremy and you managed to look good and keep us from ralphing and maybe even squeeked out a semi believable enjoyable moment then maybe you really are a star, maybe the academy should applaud.

I do see where you're coming from chuck but until someone comes up with a broadly accepted term for the hotties that make porn my guess is people will continue to refer to them as stars.  The Jenna Jameson's and Tera Patrick's etc etc of the world know where they've been and how much star power they have. The up and comers and the used-to-be's are probably the only ones who begrudge Sarah the star title, but we probably called them star once too.  I think we need some suggestions here.  Adult entertainer might be too broad but it doesn't insinuate star.  Hottie might be too subjective. How about digital harlot - that could include girls who are strictly web based as well?

Maybe the best solution is to use no title and say she is starting a career in porn and has 3 movie credits.  Besides maybe porn star is not what she is; porn is something she does.

Hello all, yes they are two different people. Liz of Jax does not advertise here on TER but she is a very good friend of mine and she does have a website. In fact, I am going to be doing doubles with her next week and I will make a posting announcement about that over the weekend with specifics. She does not have any reviews here on TER (her decision) but I will puther link up again with mine when I post our doubles tag team duo for next week.

Oh by the way Liz is now a porn star as well and she is making movies, really hot movies! You can see her on her porn site link below. Just in case you want to peek at my girlfriend since she and I will be together all next week, plus she's leaving town soon for some new video shoots. Her stage name is Sarah Jade but her dating name is Liz of Jax. Don't let it confuse you. She's a sweetie and a hottie.

Here's her porn site: www.sarahjade.com

And below is her escort information. Keep an eye out for my announcement for our upcoming SuperBowl welcoming committee, Liz and myself. What better way to experience Jacksonville for the first time if you're visiting or if you already live here? This will be a lot of fun.

Not to be an A-hole, for I know some will take it this way but I am totally serious in this question: How many movies does a lady have to do before she calls herself a Porn Star? It seems that EVERYONE with a digital camera and a website are claiming to be a porn star these days. To liz's/Sarah's credit she has only done 3 flicks (info from her own website). How about she advertises as "I've done some adult movies" but porn star? Nah!

Okay, blast away, but to me "porn star" is one of the most OVER USED terms in this business. Just like a few other terms and phrases.

well hello there hon....i don't normally post here, but i will be happy to answer your question! As far as in this business (escorts, professional courtesan, etc..) i have never advetised myself as a Porn Star. Giselle is just using the term that is most commonly used, something you yourself acknowledge.

as far as listing myself as a porn star on my site, i don't have all the movies i have to my credit listed. the ones i do have are for large companies and even in that instance i didn't list 2 of them because they have yet to be named, lol (be surprised how often that happens) but for amatuer companies and little websites and off the wall magazines (some are overseas lol, and i couldn't pronounce or spell them if i tried!!) i have done about 30 shoots. so in the end, there really is no set amount of movies to establish your status as a porn star. it's simply easier to say than "porn actress". but after i get back from LA in a month, i will have done 6 more large productions to be released this year! well hope this helps to answer your question....lots of luv~ Liz

Guys, Liz is the best JAX has to offer, especially if you like petite hot bodies with real hooters. I've seen her once and will be back!
