It's been a a while since this was asked, but what are the best "Romantic" hotels in the Tampa Bay area?  By that I mean...tubs or showers for 2, jacuzzi's....not just a nice business hotel, but a place that really adds ambiance to the evening.

Here's my entry...Pasa Tiempo in St. Pete Beach.  Really a B&B...with only 10 or fewer rooms. But there are a couple of suites that are really nice...overlook the inter-coastal, two have hot tubs.  Prices range from $200-$300/nite, altho it's hard to get for just one nite.

Welcome your advice...

A very romantic room with an ocean view through French doors to a private balcony. Furnished with a Caribbean style mahogany queen poster bed and a Jacuzzi bath with shower.

I stayed there once.  It is a really cool place.

Yes it is, there are many unique inns up that way.  The best time of year for that kind of trip is Fall.
