Rarely do I get the chance to get to the other coast and I am a huge foodie.  Are there any remarkable places that locals know about?  I have heard of Andre's steak house, but that is about it.  I am looking for atmosphere and good eats.  I know many ladies travel there often can you make any suggestions.   And I'll be hitting Trader Joe's for sure on my way back, that is a place not to be missed.  

I absolutely love that place.. I can't wait to go back.. The Baker Museum has an exhibition right now about Egypt.. I think it is also a place worth visiting...

Is there anything you don't know about this State? Maybe you should consider running for govenor.

highly doubt it this fun part of my life would be widely accepted being that politicians are under such exaggerated scrutiny from the general public and the media .. I guess maybe I can be in office in something less "high profile"...Department of Entertainment? lol
On a serious note..there are a lot of things that I do not know about Florida yet.. but I definitely try to read a lot and learn everyday and obviously read the boards

Could not agree more.  One of the best meals I ever had, and dining Oceanside made the ambience that much better.  La Playa is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at.  Enjoy!
