It is truly wonderful to read a post like this from someone who is observing our board.

Normally the Florida board is a great place to be.  Yes you are right there is soo much negativity the last few days.  Those of us who have been around for awhile have also observed alot of things.  Sadly, what has happened to our mod is a bad thing....like you said people who like to be twits or twankers (love that btw) just have nothing else better to do with their lives.  A very sad thing and is why over the last 5 yrs. I stay clear of it all!!

However, if you can overlook the negative things you will find some very wonderful people on this board and in Florida.

I hope you enjoy our board and our postings and you will be able to find great company when you arrive in Florida.  From one English Woman (well I do have English blood in me as my Mum was born in London) to you Mr. Englishman...enjoy the boards and thanks for the post!!!

As an outsider (been floowing the discussions for a few days now prior to a trip over to Florida next week from afar), my two pennies worth:

If and when people are disrespectful and trying to stir, just ignore them and do not answer back.
They are looking for a stage for their rubbish and will soon get bored and go away if nobody responds.
Always found that a good way of dealing with twits, or as i like to call them "twankers"  (Combination of a twit and a wanker)

For the normal ones out there-i do enjoy reading the posts - good fun - keep it up

There sure are some doozies out there that think it's there job to troll the boards and stir the pot.

Some more philosophical ramblings.

As i mentioned to someone else in a pm.

Bet most of the twankers are men, 9 out of 10 at least.  Problem with quite a few of my species is that they think because the part with some funds, they can do and say what they want, and that misses the point completely.
IMHO all about having an intimate experience with a fellow human being, the emphasis being on mutually rewarding experience - otherwise much cheaper to just have a wank and you dont have to cuddle it afterwards either (lol)
In essence, for these twankers it is also all about power, and what they do not realise is that men have no power at all, otherwise the remuneration structure would have been the other way around (lol)

And after all of that meaningless drivel (ha ha), time for a coffee and bed with a good book as it is pissing down with rain over here.

I'm on the outside of the circle as well and found myself very afraid to say or do anything on this board the last few days for fear of offending the outgoing or possibly, the incoming. It takes very little effort to side step the chaos while it takes soooo much brain energy to get involved with trivial issues and the board personalities who love to start trouble. I'm waiting for the dust to settle and for someone to post something worth talking about. For example ---- what about getting laid? Anyone up for that??? Isn't that what we all want?  I know I do!!!
